I started playing after TBC came out and wanted a Tabard of the Argent Dawn FOREVER. With the recent scourge invasion, I have my "epic" loot!
Some Pocket Lint in a Dusty Tome in Dire Maul
My guild finally got to BT after months of training on lower raids. It was pretty cruise control through most of the dungeon. I was the Fury Warrior in the second group, which was DPS. I had some decent arena gear, but I was hoping to get some good stuff from BT. We had some trouble at the Illidari Council, almost wiped, but a good friend of mine, who was a Survival spec Hunter in the third group, managed to Feign Death and use jumper cables on the healers. He managed to save the raid, but was shortly after killed by Darkshadow. I avenged his death with an axe to Darkshadow's back, and we cleared the encounter. However I didnt get too much good loot from BT so far. Some decent epic plate, but otherwise a bit dissapointing. Oh well, I thought, maybe Illidan will have something for me. We got to Illidan, and had a good long fight with him. We almost wiped, there was one healer left alive at the end of the fourth phase, and we breathed sighs of relief when he rezzed us and Maiev joined the fight. After the epic finale, and the satisfaction of downing Malfurion's brother, we cheered and congradulated each other. But then it was time for the good part, hot, sexy loot. We opened him up, and lo and behold, I stared wide eyed with excitement at a Warglaive of Azzinoth. However, a true, tearjerking tragedy happened that could make even the most hardcore WoW junkies cry. Before I could mouse over the Need button, I was disconnected from the server.I stared at the login screen, mouth agape, hardly believing what had happened. The profanity that spewed from my mouth would've been enough to make a British SAS officer blush. That night I dreamed of William Shatner in epic Shaman gear taunting me. /cryHowever, the most epic loot I did actually receive was probably the Westfall Chicken from the CLUCK! quest. That made my day
] (sorry)Umm my epic loot would be when i got my first broom from "Hallow's End"I felt GREAT! (although it was farely slow but watever =D )
I think the most epic loot i ever gotten was the headless horsemans mount. I was estatic
For me, it was the Adventurer's Pith Helmet. It dropped off a dwarf in Uldaman, and I was the only leather-wearer. That thing was just so awesome looking I used it until Outland. I still keep it in the bank to wear around towns.
The most epic loot I ever got was my first time in Molten Core. It was a pick up group and we could not down Lucifron. We ended up breaking up but two Bind on Equip bracers dropped. One was Cenarion Bracers, then the other was the Nightslayer bracers. Me being a rogue with no Molten Core gear at the time I really wanted them. So first they did a roll for the druid bracers which made me even more eager to get my bracers. Then, the time came.. Me and about 6 other rogues rolled for the bracers and alas.. I had lost, but, the rogue that did win was a really old friend of mine way back when i met him at level 20, I had him on my friends list but I had never talked to him. So then I look at his gear to find out he already has the bracers and then I whisper him "I thought we were friends :(" then he says "We are :)" and trades me the bracers.. Even though they were bind on equip and the most common piece of tier 1, they were still epic and so was the friendship.. Even today, I still have those bracers sitting there waiting in my bank.
The most epic loot i have Gotten has to be the Brewfest Ram as i am Horde
I got paid to go to the midnight release of Wotlk (Wotlk a pretty epic item if I do say so myself)EPIC
The day I finally get my shadowcraft chest piece and pants....
I love my White Kitten as a hordie, not really a drop but a fun pet to have as a horde
My first epic I ever got was the Green Tower, off some random mob in Tanaris. I was soopar happy, sold it for a pretty good amount of gold, since I couldn't use it. It wasn't the MOST epic, but it was my first epic, so it was still pretty significant.
It wasn't much of an epic drop, but before TBC came out, I had always prefered using Fist weapons over swords and daggers for some strange reason. I wished they had better fist weps but the only viable ones were swords for combat. But like 2 months before TBC came out, they announced the new honor point system and once I saw that GM fist blade, I grinded nonstop to get it. Even though WotLK is out and I have gotten many epics since, that is the only weapon I have in my bank that I didn't even think to throw away, despite it's "obsoleteness." I love it :)
My most epic loot was http://www.wowhead.com/?item=38260. Very funny loot pick pocketed from a dwarf too=P
Most epic loot was when I put in the code for my Frost Wyrn from my Collectors box, I love the little baby frost wyrm following me around.
Probably my most epic drop was my first epic I used. The chest off off of Venoxxis in Zul'Gurub back in the days of vanilla WoW. Though, once I did find the recipe for Potency on the auction house for five gold.
My most epic loot was finding the Broken I.W.I.N Button, For a while i thought i could fix it :P.
the sinister sqaushling after a rather unusual HH kill, the tank dc'd, and i was highest dps, so, guess wut, he aggro'd little old me, the mage, i was like "HUH!" and with good heals we got that guy down, with sinister sqaushling and broom, i won both! was so fun
I love pets and mounts. I really wanted a Fire Fly. i framed and farmed for it but never got it to drop. one of my friends knew how baddly i wanted. it. so he farmed for one and gave it to me =D its my lucky fire fly. even thou i have over 50 ets *and mounts lol* i use my little pet macro and when ever my fire fly get pict, it never fails, no matter how many wipes we did, or how many times killing a boss my loot doesnt drop, the boss will die, and i always gets something i have been needing =D
One of my most epic loot would have to be the first purple I ever got, my season 1 shoulders from BG, they were my only purple for at least 3 months, because after that I decided that BG just wasn't for me.Those things were like my wing-man.
