2016Mists of Pandaria Timewalking Event

Six Mists of Pandaria dungeons are available in Timewalking difficulty: 青龙寺, 风暴烈酒酿造厂, 魔古山宫殿, 围攻砮皂寺, and 残阳关.

时空扭曲徽章 rewards include the pets and , and the mount 玉蕾，青龙之女, the missing green heavenly cloud serpent!
Reputation badges include some of the more annoying Pandaria reputations, such as 垂钓翁奖章!

收养的幼崽箱子 is a toy referencing the 一箱被诱拐的小狗, that drops from the Pandaria rare spawn 波尔金·黑拳.

Molten Core was the first raid of World of Warcraft, and this special 40-man LFR version let many players live or relive this first experience by hunting down 拉格纳罗斯 and his minions in his lair.

The LFR version worked the same as the level 60 version of the raid - All the existing bosses were present and had to be killed before Ragnaros became available.
The bosses were also kept intact, with only their abilities being scaled up to level 100 - The only things nerfed were the elemental resistances/immunities of bosses and 焚化者古雷曼格's massive aggro radius.

Killing Ragnaros also awarded you a helmet that looked just like the famous 毁灭王冠, no matter your armor specialization: 威能之冠 (Cloth), 灾难之冠 (Leather), 毁灭之冠 (Mail), 荒芜之冠 (Plate).

Ragnaros also had a chance to drop the pet 迷你恨光 and the weapon glow 幻象：拉格纳罗斯的怒焰. The latter are now included as a chance to come in Winter Veil's 被窃的礼物.

This special battleground was a 40v40 deathmatch, meaning there were no real rules or objectives to take! Just zerg ahead and kill other players.

Killing players would increase your PvP rank, a node to the original Honor System. Those were purely cosmetic and would only last while you were inside the battleground.

Alliance Ranks: 列兵, 下士, 中士, 军士长, 士官长, 骑士, 骑士中尉, 骑士队长, 护卫骑士, 少校, 司令, 统帅, 元帅, 大元帅.

Horde Ranks: 侦察兵, 步兵, 中士, 高阶军士, 一等军士长, 石头守卫, 血卫士, 军团士兵, 百夫长, 勇士, 中将, 将军, 督军, 高阶督军.

Deathwing Comes! Deathwing has finally erupted from the earth realm of 深岩之洲, and with his arrival, massive changes happened to the zones in Azeroth. You can check out in this article all the changes that happened in Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms!
With the Shattering of Azeroth, many quests in zones in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms were changed or outright removed to make room for new adventures for the players. Old and now obtainable quests were automatically removed from player's questlogs.

Noticeable changes include a new starting zone experience for Gnomes and Trolls, reflecting the events of 诺莫瑞根行动 and 扎拉赞恩的灭亡.

New Race/Class Combinations:

Dwarf: Mage, Shaman, Warlock

Gnome: Priest

Human: Hunter

Night Elf: Mage

Blood Elf: Warrior

Orc: Mage

Tauren: Paladin, Priest

Troll: Druid, Warlock

Undead: Hunter

I made a Nelf hunter and my brother rolled a Nelf rogue (we originally shared an account!). Here's what the official website said about hunters back then:

Available to: Night Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Tauren, Trolls
Type: Ranged Physical Damage Dealer
Standard Bars: Health/Mana
Pet Bars: Health/Focus
Available Armor: Cloth, Leather, Mail (level 40)
Available Weapons: Axes, Daggers, Guns, Bows, Crossbows, Fist Weapons, Polearms, Staves, Swords, Thrown, Two-Handed Axes, Two-Handed Swords
Comments: Excellent for those who like to solo with pets

Remember when hunters had mana? What a pain to manage. Looking at the weapon list, it's no wonder there was that joke that everything was a hunter weapon, lol. Ah, the old days when you started with a different armour type and unlocked your actual armour type at level 40. What a milestone level 40 was in vanilla. :)
