Pet Battle World Quests will continue in Battle for Azeroth, as well as some other pet battle elements from Legion.

Content like 全谱系制霸 was considered successful and can evolve.

More battle pets are on the way! One type coming are cute salamanders, known as sorrowlisks.

Many old pets are also getting uprezzed new models, including chickens and cats.

There will also be a big fat cat eating fish in Kul Tiras. This answer warranted more clarification. There will be both a big fluffy cat with a fat body and fluffy cat face in many colors, as well as a cat with a big fluffy face on the regular cat body.

Warcraft Art PanelTortollandatamined a battle pet called Tottle

His description reads: "Tottle's one wish is to explore the world at your side!"

As this pet was encrypted, we speculated he would be part of an upcoming promotion, like a Collector's Edition. Based on the data, we can tell that the model has four color variants - Green, Brown, Blue and Grey.

The What's Next panel included an adult and baby Tortollan on the Zandalar troll slide.

I'd like to see someone disagree with a playable Turtle race! C'mon, maybe some passive skills similar to the druid swim form. We could use another race (like Worgen) who get some sort of ability that uses their body (i.e. Running Wild).
