The tail effect reminds me of Moltres, albeit colored black.
The shadowy effect is really cool and the overall look of it is very cool and rogue-like but i dont understand what the metal things on its wings are supposed to be or how they stay there. Pieces of a bear trap that it escaped from but are still stuck in its flesh? Seems they could have come up with something that made more sense there.
WTF is with that hat thing? Looks like Hoggle
Such a shame Outlaw didn't get a parrot.
Yet another animal cruelty case which is a trend in Legion. The metal bits on the wings makes no sense nor does the saddle. The saddle has no clear girth to keep it on the bird. So the only way it can be attached is if it's bolted to the poor bird's spine. And then the metal bits on the wings would have to be bolted to the joint on the wings for them to stay attached as well.Really loving how Blizzard keeps forgetting even simple little things like girths on saddles and then bridles for reins to attach to. The rogue mount suffers from the same issue the fox does. The fox has reins bolted to its neck and the raven has the saddle bolted to its back. The Zulian panther has the same issue. Saddles don't just magically stay on an animal's back nor do reins magically attach to an animal's head.Things like this make me think Blizzard is leaving a lot of things half done. A girth takes seriously like 5 seconds to add since most of them are painted on. But even when Blizzard does add a girth, they do it wrong. Look at many of the horses. The girth is supposed to be right behind the animal's elbow. Blizzard keeps putting the girth too far back which would result in the saddle slipping as soon as you tried to mount. Even if you managed to mount, as soon as the animal moved, you'd roll. Blizzard artists really need to go to a dude ranch for a week or two to learn how tack works because they keep failing at even the simplest things.
Dude it's a game
Explore enemy cities? I wonder how many alliance rogues will fall off Thunder Bluff in the process.
I know you're making a joke. But really....no. Don't be that guy. Please.
I'm not convinced about the butt-smoke.
It is just dawning on me that it's going to be a harrowing task unlocking all the mounts and their colour variations for each class if you are so inclined.
"you can buy additional mount tints for 1000 order resources each"Is this a typo error? Should be 10.000 order resources, cuz all other class mount tints and class toys cost 10.000?
So... For our mount quest, we are (once again) being sent into the actual enemy cities, instead of, say, an instanced version. The actual cities that have enemy players in them, who would only be too keen on wasting an opposing rogue. I imagine that we are also automatically flagged for PvP since we are being engaged by guards. I am not a happy camper. That is without mentioning that getting in and out of enemy cities can be a task in itself. Well, it apparently falls to us rogues to do what other classes cannot do (stands tall). We'll manage, I suppose.
Well i for one, would love to see my rogue on this. I think this bird mount goes great with the lore of rogues. I see it putting fear into my enemies when i wPvP.
Kind of bummed that there's no idle animation beyond flapping. Doesn't really make sense for it to run around (tho a hop would be neat), but even a sit/stand animation would be nice. I can't stand when flying mounts endlessly flap, like the bat from the store. Also sincerely hope they got rid of whatever those godawful looking metal bits on the wings are supposed to be. I don't see them in the quest video, so I'm hoping they did.Otherwise I think it fits the Rogue nicely. Minus the weird cap.... lol. Can't wait to get that red version though, it's awesome.
