The Blizzard design team should be ashamed of this. It is so incredibly ugly, bland and dull that it's not worthy of being a mount you buy for 10g from a vendor, let alone a class specific mount. Compare this to literally any other class mount (including Warlock and Loladin horses) and sit in wonder as you stare at a Dalaran Sewer cover. I'll do the quest chain, because it could be interesting, but this mount won't be used by myself or many of the Mage community. I'll even go so far as to actively /spit on those who do. So many potential Mage-themed mounts, and Blizzard goes with this... Good thing there are already enough spec-related flying mounts that actually look good which we can use.
I also disagree. I quite like it, and you seem to be waaaaaay too angry for something like this. As you said, it's a damned mount, there are so many others for you to use.
maybe the bubble like this or like this (exclude the ape form) would be a better idea for mage's mount
As a mage, I find the mount to be fugly as hell... Why not give us that beautiful arcane raven that has been in the files for a while? Let us shapeshift into them like Shade of Medivh. If you don't know what I am talking about:/guardians-imagehttp://www.wowhead.com/news=259780/assault-on-broken-shore-scenario-and-unlocking-new-artifact-traits-in-patch-7-2#screenshots:4026260:7
I like it, definitely my top 3 together with Monk and Hunter. A call back to flying discs in the Malygos encounter. Among the class mounts making me wonder what the heck these have to do with respective class fantasy the top contenders would be Rogue, Warrior and Priest.
Lol... I want to know what kind of Kool-Aid the player is drinking! That arcane mage is casting spells in the trial portion that are landing for over 1M damage! I hope this is because they have already done more of the artifact power improvements and other power up quests.. otherwise the trial portion just reminds me of the proving grounds... as far as the mount goes, I to will collect it just for the numbers... I might use it in my rotation of Eche'ro, The Grove Warden, The Headless Horsemans Mount, and my Bronze Drake...
Personally I love the mounts. I really like the Arcane and Fire ones in particular compared to Frost, but its all a great idea. I'm hoping the challenge will be pretty tough. These extra buffs that we can buy, kinda worries me that it'll make it too easy, but one can only hope.
A quite lovely mount. Small, yet absolutely magey themed with great effects. Not every mount has to fill the entire screen.
I kinda like these discs but I wish some more stuff happened under them - like affecting the ground somehow. Fire mount scorching the earth, frost, well, making the ground frosty I guess, and arcane could do some arcany stuff :P
Those are definitely the most magey mounts yet. Nice job, Blizz. Some will complain but some always complain.
--- TO EVERY MAGE FRUSTRATED WITH THIS MOUNT... ---I mean c'mon, your class... you're teh mage! You know, try imagine the experience of main'ing a Lock since TBC... (Tbh, you can't imagine). You class as been dope, like, since EVER.Ahem.
doesnt look bad, i like it
All other classes get same horses, drakes and other boring $hit with same models and recolors. But mages get nice mount! Yep, it's true.Haters gonna hate, but this mount truly unique and i love it.
I like it!
maybe things under it like a arcane storm, a blizzard or hail for frost and dripping lava or flame thrower kind of effect
