When will this come into affect ?
Is it truly possible to permanently disable this feature? Because believe it or not, I'm a player, not a streamer.
Facebook connecting is listed under it's own header of 'Streaming Platforms' suggests support for other platforms (possibly twitch or youtube) for streaming is being considered.
While I've dabbled in streaming before, Facebook is definitely not the audience I want seeing my stream.I hope there's a way to disable that button on the launcher.
Darn it. I didn't get this in my Alpha client, boo! xPhttps://i.imgur.com/vgDjW1A.png
you didnt get it yet but you have alpha client.. it hasnt release into the alpha yet
No I hate facebook plus I never streamed before there better be a disable button or so help me
This new feature is not optional so don't even ask. In fact, if you try to opt-out they will force you to stream on Periscope; if you say no a second time you are now streaming on YouTube. No again? Now you've done it! You are streaming on Twitch too. Wanna push your luck some more? Blizzard will have you streaming on a dozen services simultaneously. Think you are a bad-ass and and can circumvent all this? Well now Windows 10 will install in the middle of your raid even if you already have it. Oh wait... It is optional? Huh; guess that was in the fine print - or the big button you must choose to click.
Okay I'm going to ask the obvious question: Why Facebook and not Twitch or Youtube?
There is no way I'd ever tie my Blizzard account into Facebook's.
Meh, still gonna do twitch for my streaming.
I still believe that Facebook is probably the absolute worst partner for Blizz to start a venture with. Blizz now has like 3 layers of security to prevent hacking and account fraud, Facebook is pretty much a source of usernames and passwords for hackers to find and learn about you. Plus Facebook live video is only stil in its infancy. Every article is a link to an ad loaded page and the interface itself is bloated and cumbersome. I really see this as an idea that will come and be forgotten about almost as quickly...
Thank the gods the didn't call the social media integration "major content" this time.
why Facebook? That is so stupid. . . has Blizzard hear of Twitch? That is more appropriate than Facebook.
