Oh, if anyone's curious as to what sets I used in the screenshots, they are:
That's pretty cool. Nicely done.
Yeah, nice helpful guide :)
Awsome job, as usual!
I didn't realize Blizz added so nice "sets" to the old world. Thanks for pointing them out, I'll definitely get some of them.
Love this update. Thanks for all the hard work.Z
I am let down with this article. After checking out the different armors, I liked the Flirtation Regalia for my shadow priest. SO i take the time to write down all the quests needed to get the pieces... the quest to get the Cowl of Revision... IS NO LONGER IN THE GAME... chromie no longer gives the quest in the Eastern Plaguelands. I didnt even bother with the rest. Please if you are gonna do an article please make sure your info is up to date.
Chromie is still in the game, but moved locations. Darrowshire quests are also obtainable, but have been rescaled to level 40 after EPL was changed for lower-level players. From a user comment:
wow i never realized how bad the cloth cata gear was
Another excellent guide. How soon till 'matching' weapons? Main-hand, off-hand, one-hand, as well as other similar schemed combo's for classes that don't have the same weapons dropping for slots. (like fist/dagger, 2-hand mace/axe, sword/shield) I've tried searching for some but even with a 600 object page limit and color filtering, finding the right combo is still quite daunting.
The really nice thing about the new quest rewards is that they're at the higher resolution of other recent content, so you can pick what you like to round out a custom set and not have one piece of gear be awkward and blurry-looking :)
Yay my guide for the Fire Gizzard set got linked!Great guide btw. I always love wowhead's transmog guides!
Pretty nice perc.
Doomplate Battlegear is Plate and not leather under the Outlands sectionCheers for the great guide
While I do appreciate the time it took to make this, and don't want to be "That guy", this isn't really all that great. If you use the addon Mogit, you can do this more efficently, as well as the Wowhead built sets are not fully accurate, complete, or comprehensive with some sets. The blue-colored Northrend cloth set, for example. Or the Chilled Plate set also from Borean Tundra and areas shortly after.
