They don't really need to test hard modes and will just hotfix any bugs just like they did with tier 11 and there's nothing even implying they are going to gate Firelands. I'd imagine they will work more towards the 28th rather than releasing it the day after the 4th.
Uhh, wrong thread?
Good to know we now have a time frame of when the patch comes out.
And here's your hard mode testing:http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/2593048807?page=1#1They are making sure to really test things now that things are nearing the end.
*Jesse cox voice* eeeEPIIIIIIICC! (traaashhhh)
All Season 9 items will cost Honor Points (equivalent to their previous Conquest Point cost) when the season ends, with the exception of any items with rating requirements attached.Interesting, as this statement implies they are putting the PVP weapons on the honor vendor. Would be quite the change of pace from WOTLK, but I imagine this isn't the case and it will be every piece but the weapons.
I get the feeling that, more and more, games in this genre come out unfinished and with serious problems that are killing some in their early stages. The bugs and whatnots should all be fixed in the PTR and by the time it hits live they should almost be non-existent, but this trend makes me think that they need these bugs just to give the game something to talk about and stir the community. I know it's a bit of an exaggeration and I hope the next patch and future content gets the attention they need, but that's the idea I've been getting for a long time now, I'm really starting to get disappointed with this. I hope people start getting out of this mediocrity and doing just the barely minimum to start setting their goals a little higher. I even have the low expectation, so I'm not rarely surprised positively, must of the time I just hope to get online and play with friends and raid or whatever, but even like that there are limits.I really hope to have this feeling proven wrong.
If the patch does get pushed through at the end of the month, there is still time for them to announce epic gems. Very doubtful, but it is still possible... maybe.Sounds like they are still testing, but bear in mind that they will do their utmost to polish and balance the encounters before releasing the content. Blizzard aren't perfect, but then, can any game so mammoth ever be thus? People should just be happy at how cool the encounters are. And it's not like anyone is going to launch into heroic modes in the first week of release anyway. >.<
so there is no blue season 10 set to buy with honor points? darn it
zomg5, they clearly state that the s9 gear will be available for honor points. that will be the step before s10 epics, there really is no need for somethin blue in between.
