Has anyone had the repair program actually fix a problem? All it's ever done for me is delete my addons and settings (while the problem remains).Speaking of addons and settings, is anyone else sick of obvious server-side bug reports being met with a "delete your addon and wtf folders"?
Awesome! Finally it's here, thanks blizz :)
Implying people play WoW on Macs.
Took them long enough to add this =\"
I play WoW on a Mac, always have.
Hooray, it finally exists!I haven't required the use of such a thing yet; the only crashes I get are memory exceptions that are apparently some combination of the latest OSX updates + video card drivers, and I haven't even gotten those lately. But every time I saw my boyfriend have to use his repair.exe I always wondered "Why can't they make a repair.app?"Oho, I can stop asking now. 8)
I play WoW on a macbook, it' terrible.that is why I am building a PC ...
"Now instead of reinstalling the game or restoring it from backup, Macintosh users will have an easy way to restore their World of Warcraft installation!"Windows want it 2!
The better and morelong term way to fix this problem is smash your mac and install it on a REAL computer.
Lovin' the generic overdone PC-twat Mac-hate in here. *yawn*I play WoW on my Macbook and it runs perfectly without a problem, doubt I'll even need this tool unlike when I played WoW on Windows. Ugh.
WoW on two macs with no problem.WoW on boyfriend's PC with constant corrupt file crashes. To basically agree with the guy above me, "yawn".OS wars are almost the biggest waste of time, second only to politics.
There are few certainties in life: Death, Taxes, and Pointless Hate towards political, religious, and operating system differences.
Of course there are people hating on Macs.. Their OS is only letting them use an internet browser right now. Maybe soon their OS will decide they can actually go play WoW.I personally play WoW on Ultra while watching Hulu on my 20something iMac... Once you grow up.. and pay for your own stuff. You won't use an OS that doesn't even run.. just for a higher polygon count. Having to replace components more than twice a year.
