Imo the way to look at this is that, with a highter buff you can do the same content with fewer people. I mean at the start 4/12 was hard with 10 or 25 man, but yesterday i brought the most fail 21/25 pug grp to Saurfang and killed him with 3dps offline and 1 leaving. now with the 25% buff, you basicly only need 20 people for the 25mans.
The funny thing about this buff is that it makes the strong stronger, but it doesnt make the bad any less bad. This is probably gonna push my guilds DPS to the point when we can deal with Putricide 25 heroic adds. (we are like half-casual, there are always people that kinda drag the raid)

All it does is mean you can progress further in ICC without such a high gear requirement. I still don't have all the drops I could use from the first wing, mainly due to bad luck. As stated already, it doesn't make you immune from standing in fire.
Lets go kill the Lich King naked.
If a smart PuG can't clear Lower Spire with this 5% upgrade then it's going to make me lose hope in all ICC PuGs.
The reason why we haven't down The Lich King is not because we didn't have the heals or damage. It's because we MESSED up. Before I thought it would help but its more then just that! I'll take the buff anyway thanks Blizz
Yay, maybe I can clear ICC this time around...
To put the GS thing in perspective I actually encountered this yesterday. A guildie started a TOC25 pug, and we got some people. One of them asked for raid assistant and then started being all elitist, booting people for less than 5K gs, asking for achievements, etc. When it turned out half of us had done TOC10 but not 25, he basically nerdraged and said how the pug was going to fail (because TOC25 is so much different than 10-man, right?) and basically the PUG just fell apart after that. Just because someone who was invited to join the pug, he didn't start it decided to start being a GS/achievement elitist.
The fact that you gave some random player assist just means you got what you deserved.
