Can't wait to try this...not available on Dragonmaw atm.
this is going to be tight hopefully blackrock gets it
i really can't see why this "WoW-remote" could be useful unless they plan to add more things to it in the futurethe price is most likely there to prevent a flood of bots using it and causing inflation i guess D:
Well, Armory's going to be down for a bit, it seems. Note to self: don't try syncing the Profiler to the Armory anytime soon.-Anyways, this will be nice feature. It would be nice if non-subscribers could have limited access; allowing "look but don't touch" browsing, for example, where you can search the AH but can't post bids or put up items for auction._For the record, I don't plan on subscribing to this
Good for them, but i think i can handle my stuff while im in the game anyway :)
Time to start writing that AH-Pwning bot...Seriously Blizzard? This is the most fail idea I've ever heard.
Yeah Blizzard...how dare you add more features to the game. You're obviously making it easier for everyone to play.=P
Wow that's nuts. =P
I would personally stick to the free version. No auctioneer/marketwatcher = no buy
This is awesome. I really like the wow-remote service idea.Imagine all the possibilities, like crafting those pesky cooldown-items whenever the cooldown finishes, or cook something and mail it to a friend of yours that really needs those buffs. Everything that doesn't require extreme graphics and can be represented with some tables really ... talking about graphics, what about fishing? They could do a simple animation for it and you could fish while lying by the pool, with your mobile in one hand and a mojito in the other.
Hardcore AH players will find this useless. Part-time AH players will find this a bit more useful, but not game-breaking. 200 postings a day is simply too small to make a difference, but enough for small-time sellers; the price tag per month kinda sealed it for me, no thanks. On the bright side, you can check the various listings, bids, won auctions, etc. on the "free" version, which is rather useful for people that simply want a queue when to drop the mats that sell. Here's a thing that ran through my head when I read about this: if you can play WoW and have the AH in the browser, tabbing to it and checking stuff on-the-fly, how far are we from an all-area-access AH in-game? Imagine going on a farming trip, filling up your bags, stopping for a moment to dump the full bags of mats on the AH and resume farming, without ever wasting time going to a capital city for that simple task. For gold farmers (the mining bots mostly) this would be amazing; for me, it would be mildly useful. I'd like my guild bank to be accessible from anywhere please, so I can have my minion work over-time~
Meh, the idea is good, but I'm not paying an additional 3 bucks a month just to do this.I think I'll stick to the old, free, way of auctioning my junk.
