BORNAAAAKK!*coughs*I think this is great, but I am indeed skeptical about healing becoming an issue as far as balance goes.
How exactly does this affect healing? Healing, as I see it, would be relatively more powerful since less healing will have to be done. Is this what they're referring to? This should be no imbalance though; you should always kill the healers first. Healing issue solved.
Oh wow, I didn't see that change coming. I'm not really sure if this is good or bad because I don't know if it was needed or not. I play squishy characters who tend to get handed their untimely death in a few seconds, so hopefully this will allow me a little more breathing room. As it stands now, I can get crit twice in a row and for all intents and purposes, the fight is over.I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the net effect is of this it.Edit for Grammarz
two druids setup, both resto and winning with thorns might become a winning combo (as long as you have 48h to play only one match)
It affects healing because priests and others with high resilience will be 10 to 20% harder to kill.
Ugh.... yeah Blizz. No duh this will make healers harder to kill. Guess I can't judge it too far until I try it though. 1k ticks from healing priest's Devouring Plauge is very rediculous.
I am wagering double healer just became the top comp..
Makes things harder to stab :(
Maybe its just me, but I will be glad to see this. As a disc priest myself that has been unable to reach the plateau of "easy healing" in arenas I will welcome this with open arms. Good players with better gear and good crowd control can always beat the best healer. If you don't like not dealing so much damage, stop face rolling and play a tactically strong arena game.
a welcome change now i will be able to arena without getting gcded with cleave teams
it will lead to the undeniable death of double dps, but it will be necessary for rated BGs to work
Healing output is the same while damage output is significantly lessened? That seems like a huge buff to classes that can heal. Is this Blizzards way of admitting that they broke pvp in this xpac? But it should make for some pretty long fights and will probably be kinda fun.
completely missed thishttp://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=141045&p=1788183colored text beats wowhead
yeah, I don't equate long with fun. Sure, it sucks to have an arena match last 5 seconds, but things can get out of hand now. Ex: I was in Wintergrasp and happened to see a resto druid being ganked by a priest/dk combo, so I jumped in to help. After about 10 minutes where none of use ever even came close to being down to half health, I got bored, vanished, and sprinted off and left the tree to die. Maybe I have A.D.D., but half hour arenas are not my cup of tea.
I wasn't going to reply to this thread as anything I would have to say would basically be QQ. But then I realized two things:1. "The critical strike chance and critical strike damage reduction components of resilience will remain unaffected by this change."2. I'm a Frost Mage.*shrug* Maybe I'll live a little longer now ;)
I look forward to having those ret paladins in full wrathful facerolling all the PvE geared players in BGs until cataclysm.
