Patch 7.2 Changes
In the 7.2 patch, Tomb of Sargeras, Mistweavers can unlock more traits for
, received some legendary item changes, and have some spells shifted around.
has been removed and replaced with
in the Level 15 talent row.
Core Spell Changes
has been reintroduced to the spec for a baseline defensive cooldown. 15 seconds of 20% damage reduction, as well as 20% health increase every 1.5 minutes.
is made from Leatherworkers, and provides a stacking speed boost after killing an enemy. Gain enough stacks, and you can fly out of combat as a Wisp.
Changes to Existing Legendaries
has been completely reworked. Whenever you heal with a
, it will heal for a total of 50% more, as well as heal another target.
has been slightly reworked as well. Each tick of
by 3%, maxing out at 50 stacks, or a 150% increase to
. Each tick of
contributes to this stack count.
had its design slightly tweaked. Instead of being based off of
's overhealing, it instead has a 50% chance per tick of
to spread its healing increase to a single nearby ally within 30 yards.
always provides a passive 2% Haste and 10% movement speed buff to the player, increasing to 25% and 70%, respectively, when you successfully proc
Artifact Trait Changes
After unlocking your 36th trait in
, you can complete a specialization-specific questline from the Broken Shore. More info about that quest chain can be found in the
is a 10% passive increase to all damage, healing, and stamina.
reduces the cooldown of
by 10 seconds for each rank in it.
cast to generate a charge for
causes each mist used in a cast

is a random Intellect proc, scaling per rank put into the trait. unlocked only when all other traits have been purchased.

Healers generally have niche roles that they tend to fill. Mistweavers fill a sort of jack-of-all trades position, where they can either comfortably heal the tanks with

Mistweavers have a versatile toolkit. You will have appropriate answers to most healing situations without needing talents to back you up, and it will be up to you to make the correct decision. What Makes Mistweaver Special
Legion Healing Overview
Mistweaver are masters of the art of healing mists. Using their restorative powers to aid their allies.
Mistweaver Monks use mana as their resource. Using mana, they are able to use abilities such as
Monks have fantastic mobility. Just to name a few mobility abilities they have are
Mistweaver Monks have a few strong healing cooldowns.
is a raid wide healing cooldown and
is a strong single target defensive.
Mistweaver Monks artifact weapon is the staff
Monks have a unique mount named
. You float on a cloud.
Mistweaver monks are very versatile healers. Depending on talent choices they can be good at AoE healing or really good single target healing. Mistweavers can also deal a bit of damage through fistweaving.
Every race except for Goblin and Worgen can play a Monk.
Monks can use Fist Weapons, 1H Axes, 1H Maces, 1H Swords, Polearms, and Staves.
Iconic Mistweaver Monk abilities:
: Effuse, Renewing Mist, Enveloping Mist, and Vivify also cause a gust of healing mists, instantly healing the primary target for a % of your Spellpower, scaling with how much Mastery rating you have on your gear.
