They stealth-nerfed the Blood of Sargeras missions to no longer give you a net positive exchange on garrison resources, but rather now even because the mission costs 2400 resources base, instead of 1800. If you get the bonus you have 12 Blood of Sargeras total, which is exactly worth the 2400 resources you can get from the Blood of Sargeras trader. That said, they can still be worth it to do on a main character who earns gobs of resources as a means of transferring resources to an alt.

If the mission pops with a double cost curse on it you'll see that the cost is 4800. Best counter that, or there's almost no point at all to doing the mission.
