I'm sad they took away the pink model that was shown on MMO-Champion and in the Beta. It was the best looking pink mount in game and would have been very popular with the girls :D (And all the guys out there who love pink as well ^^).

They also took away several colour variations of the Water Striders and the Yaks. I hope they plan to add these in at a later date, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who had a favourite out of the ones that were removed :(.

Nether the less, these are beautiful mounts and I hope to obtain one myself at some point :D.

The pink crane is now a rare hunter pet which needs to be tracked down, it's name is 帕特兰纳克

On live, each crane mount has a different price based on color. This mount is actually a white and not golden as other posters have pointed out.

Crane mounts use the same animations as hawkstrider mounts.

Objection.

You see, when they called the mount "Golden Riding Crane", the "Golden" was grammatically refered to the "Crane" word. So, the Crane MUST be golden in order for that to have coherency. Otherwise its a flaw.
They should have called it White Riding Crane, as the Crane itself is WHITE, not golden.

There is nothing golden about this crane, save its price tag, which is the highest of the crane mounts, for absolutely no reason but as a money sink to those not cautious enough to look here first. Its Blizzard's way of saying "You did all these dailies for weeks, so here, have a money sink made by false advertising."

It is purchasable from 宽仁的贾鲁 and it costs 2500g without Exalted.
But when you eventually get Exalted with 金莲教 - which is the only time you can buy it - it will cost 1750g.

Overall it is a nice mount, but too bad it doesn't live up to its name! :(
