yes today 12/09/09 at 9:10 AM my bottle of aged dalaran red turned into bottle of peaked dalaran red. Its quite a sight after 365 days.
okay...i opened the bottle with some guildies today on 1/18/10, and so far it has done nothing but get us a tad tipsy. Seems the 365 days or 80 gold was not worth it.

These items (bottle / cask) are NOT permanent and primarily designed for RP servers (and ppl who like gimmicks like me)

the CD refers to how often u can place one of these on the floor..

Completely useless and not even worth a smile. So many other consumables are more fitting and actually useful, the dinner made by cooks, and even the Brewfest Pony Keg are certainly more "useful". Waiting for a green item to go blue is ridiculous and paying 80 gold just makes you look like a moron, when Sulfuron Slammers are cheap and fun and easy to get. I can go through a very big list of consumables but I think I made my point.

Just another Money Sink, nothing to see here.

But I ask you:

Isn't that the essence of luxurious extravagance and hedonism?
To spend an exorbitant amount of money on something so fleeting, something you can only enjoy once, and when it's gone, when the sensory experience is over, all that remains is the memory?
The memory of something so profoundly delightful that even a similar scent or taste or thought, years later --decades, even-- is capable of triggering its automatic recollection?...

...Too bad this is just some WoW booze.
