This pattern just seems to be something to spam your skill up with. Other than that I don't think it has any real use.

It is yellow from the very beginning (skill 300), and already goes green in 305, and then grey in 310.

So this will not spam your skill a bit. It is just an item made for fun.

This is a neat pattern for those who are simply collecting patterns. There is no real buff from them. It's just a novelty item. A nice addition for the collector that is all.

Coincidentally, I was able to sell it on the Auction House for 120 G... So I guess someone wanted it.

Applying item to your feet does not override any enchants. It applies a "buff" that states: "Comfortable Insoles (30 min)".

So, your feet will be comfortable for half an hour before you wear it out.
