Sold for 10g each by an orc named Scroot in horde garrisons.
In a level 3 garrison head towards the gate leading to the mines. He is on the left hand side in a little hut.
Coordinates are (57.3, 57.4)

You can only carry 20 spikes in your bags at a time.
Each one lasts 5 minutes before disappearing and can lay down as many as you want if you keep purchasing more.
The spikes drop instantly when used in the direction you are facing.
They are at a 45 degree angle into the ground and stand about the height of an orc at the tip.
Just cosmetic for fun :)

Fun Fact - During Beta testing these were solid and could be used to create a barrier !

These spikes have always been popular among orcs, but the big boom of spikedom came with the rise of Warchief Garrosh Hellscream, who decorated all of orgrimmar with similar items.

Even after his being dethroned the trend has retained its popularity among the horde, been brought through into the new era of Warchief Vol'Jin, despite their obviously impractical usage and several 'accidents' involving them they still remain the most commonly used decoration in many orcish and generally horde themed buildings, armor, outhouses and undergarments.

I'm glad to see that Blizzard has finally addressed the long-standing problem of Horde architecture not having enough unnecessary spikes.

If you stand near one of the summoned spikes you receive a Buff called 召唤尖刺 which shows the remaining duration. You cannot cancel it by right clicking it though.

Just thought you'd really need this unnecessary information.

For 10 gold a piece these should be permanent fixtures in one's garrison. It would be nice to be able to personalize after all.

People have more Unnecessary LAG Spikes than Orgrimmar has spikes.
