Currently, while the mount is tied to the 乌瑞恩先锋军 Faction, the Vendor is actually part of the 暴风城 Faction, so to get the max rep discount on the gold portion you need exalted with 暴风城.

I was a bit disappointed since I worked pretty hard to get the Thorngrazer. From a rider's perspective the horns are oversize and distracting - almost look they are made out of felt. You do have an hour to return it to any vendor so ride it around and decide. Prefer the talbuks and the Argent Tournament palladin style horse.

There is a a nearly identical mount called 驯养的银鬃塔布羊 that is a reward from the quest Talbuk Training: the Garn that starts in your garrison. Requires stables.

Even though this is listed as an Alliance mount here, I can ride it on my Horde character. Maybe that's a bug, or this is actually a neutral mount.

From everything I'm seeing this mount is tied only to Wrynn's Vanguard. It is account wide and available to Horde once your Alliance toon earns its faction. Too bad for those of us with very limited playing time and lvling alts is a time suck we just don't have.

This is the reply I got from a GM after asking whether the mounts were working as intended in the fact that the alliance mount was separate to the horde one:

'At this very moment (it could change anytime in the future) both the Thorngrazer and the Breezestrider are different mounts and you would have to grind both reputations, in each faction, in order to be able to mount both. It's a bit inconsistent with some similar mounts in the past that's why I said that it could change in the future.

As they are two different mounts, they will count as 2 for the total mount count if you manage to do the reputation grind on a level 100 aliance character.'

Looks like i'm going to have to level my first alliance character to add this to my collection.

Edit: Apparently it had been removed from 托马斯·里约加因/魔导师朗格莱 along with 乌瑞恩先锋军战袍, but this has been fixed.

NOTE: God, sonuva.... Only buy the mount from Crafticus! He is listed as being with Stormwind, so if you're Exalted with them the mount is 4,000 gold + 5,000 埃匹希斯水晶, instead of 5,000!

Since Blizzard deactivated 阿什兰 PvP, 魔导师朗格莱 is now standing outside of the Sprocket's Garage in 暴风之盾 next to the other PvP vendors. If you haven't earned the reputation with the 乌瑞恩先锋军 before the deactivation, you will no longer be able to get it done. 军团勋章 used to offer reputation with 乌瑞恩先锋军 but other players has confirmed it no longer does. If you didn't complete it before, then you are out of luck with this one. Players who did in fact get the reputation to exalted will still be able to purchase his goods though. While 即抛型便携式飞行器 only requires friendly reputation, it's useless now when you can't access 阿什兰 anyway so don't waste the gold on it.

Does anyone know if this mount is still separated from the Horde version? Now that’s obtainable again I hope I don’t need to gather 200 marks just to get both.

Important things to note about the mounts (Alliance/Horde)
- They cost 100 Marks of Honor each. Hope you've been doing the Arathi Basin Comp Stomps when they are the active brawl.
- Each mount is usable by BOTH factions.
- So yeah, if you're a mount collector you want to grind the faction to exalted and spend the marks of honor for BOTH factions to get the +1 to your lists.

GETTING REP POST-BFA
With this faction/Ashran being re-introduced - and with a mount at exalted, you might be wondering "How hard is this grind/what's actually involved these days?"

Basically - it's pretty quick!
You have 2 options -
Loot dead player corpses for a ~25% chance to loot a blue hand-in items (example). Each of these items you loot is worth a WHOPPING 2,500 reputation, ~80g, and 25 conquest points.
You can also grind the PvE mobs for artifact hand-ins but they are worth only ~7 rep each.

A good BG where you stay near the front-lines and focus on looking for enemies to die close then hurry over to loot them - you can get upwards of 6+ items, which would be 15,000 reputation.

So this rep grind is absolutely doable! Queue for "Specific Battlegrounds" so you only get into Ashran, stay close to the big battle at the front lines and focus on looting enemy corpses - and you'll be exalted with no time.

This is now available from two vendors, standing next to each other. Both require 100 marks of honor, but one charges 5000 gold while the other charges 4000. Looks like NPCs have learned to undercut each other.

Since I had to go to the Horde version of this mount to learn this, might as well post it here. Seems like 9.1.5 broke this rep and the items from looting players in Ashran aren't actually dropping for now and Blizzard are aware of this(https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/303293). So postpone the grind for now.
Edit 10.0: Seems like the tokens are dropping once again. Rejoice!

Just got both Horde and Alliance versions of the mount by doing it on different faction max lvl toons, the grind was okay, but the queue time to even go in was very very long, I spent +2h hours on my alliance toon and a little over an hour on horde toon, looting dead players and taking advantage of the wow's 18th anniversary rep buff made it faster, the only thing good about this grind is that the battleground itself never ends unless all players leave the match at once, meaning you could spend the entire day grinding, taking a break from time to time without having to requeue up again for hours on end

Does anybody know or think that if using the Mercenary Contract buff and switching from lets say horde to alliance you can gain rep for the opposite side.

i can confirm that on patch 10.1 the items on Ashran drop again.
I did multiple runs and lootet 1-4 items per Ashran run with my lvl 70 DH (depends how many you can loot).
