The set bonuses for Shadow make me want to give up healing on my Priest. The 2-set should make Shadow Word: Death viable before 25% due to the damage boost and the mana regen from Masochism (thank you, Tsukuyomi45 for that clarification :D).
I can honestly see the 4-set bonus getting nerfed eventually though. Shadowfiend lasts 15 seconds and, for me, attacks approximately 10 times before despawning (provided it doesn't get killed). That means every 1.5 seconds I have 3 Shadow Orbs to use. Now, technically, this isn't going to provide too huge of an advantage, considering Mind Blast is on a 6.5 second CD. However, I'm wondering if it would be viable to start the fight by Mind Flaying to 5 stacks of Dark Evangelism, popping Dark Archangel and Shadowfiend, then just Mind Spiking until the Shadowfiend despawns?
Unfortunately, I'm unable to test that theory at this time; my guess though is that it wouldn't provide a significant DPS increase (and might actually end up being a loss because you have to get DoTs up afterward, which takes a bit of time). Still, being able to control when you're getting those Shadow Orbs for at least part of the fight will be a huge benefit over, "Omg I hope I have Shadow Orbs when the rest of my CDs are available! D:"

Bad news guys, the priest tier lookalike (not class restricted) "set" doesn't include shoulders..
There goes my dream of looking like priest T13.

since mind spike hits for 27K+ with 3 orbs, and obviously crits for a little over double that...using shadow fiend while under archangel will result in massive dps gain vs single target. We usually get 1 shadowy apparition per 1-2 ticks of shadow word pain(with these set bonuses you will definitely not want to talent mindflay to refresh it to maximize dps and considering the amount of movement in dragon soul this seems logical), obviously potentially quite a few more if moving about(which will be often for most fights, and is a part of the VT, then move while casting DP and SW:P, except now you may want to cast SW:P while approaching the target before you have a chance to stand still long enough for VT set up method). Seems like Blizzard wants to completely negate the HORRIBLE RNG associated with shadow orbs(I've gone over 1 minute without them on rag and baelroc before -_- that is WHILE spaming mindflay as well). All things considered with movement/distance consideration(obviously being closer to the boss may be a bit better) we will have 3 orbs for every mind blast we will cast ever with this four piece.
Also assuming full 397 gear your mindspikes should be hitting around 35-70K with 100~147K(depending on meta gem, raid debuffs, raid buffs, trinkets, etc) crits :) (obviously timing intellect or large mastery procs will prove significantly more useful than haste procs in this situation) during the duration of Dark Archangel. Having enough haste or properly casting shadow fiend for lustwrapism should reach you a nice 3 orbs per mind spike with a 1 sec gcd/1 sec cast with a minmum of 35K dps during the duration, and much more likely to be closer to 70K assuming at least 20% crit raid buffed making crit somewhat even more desirable (30% crit would be ideal to dip the +5% crit against a target fire mage debuff)... All in all we should aproach being one of the highest in raid especially on short fights(under 5 mins) or long fights(minimum 9 minutes). Crit could theoretically become much better as well as more crit = shorter shadowfiend cooldown, but given the more "mobile" nature of fighting in dragon soul this is a bit more unlikely.
Also completely broken for pvp probably!

and a somewhat alright set bonus (I think we could have got something a little bit more fun) I still wish there was more haste on this gear.
We just seem to get the choice of haste VS Spirit(hit) and that is something I very much dislike.
Lets hope we finally see some times were haste is not the be all and end all!

In Normal and Heroic difficulty, only the one listed boss will drop the corresponding tokens.
In LFR difficulty, the one listed boss is the main source of tokens, but all of the first six (Morchok through Warmaster Blackhorn) bosses have a smaller chance of dropping a different token. For example, LFR Yor'sahj mostly drops leg tokens, but has a chance to drop shoulder, chest, leg, and helm tokens.

4P bonus
Pros
Typically it is harder to get enough orb (and thus empowerment) while moving. This option reverses the situation - even in heavy movement, Shadowy Apparition would provide even more orbs than usual.
Pretty unique functionality: gives insane burst damage option. While shadowfiend is active, you would prefer to use MS/MB rotation, using all the orbs shadowfiend generates. This makes SPs viable for some special fights: for example, it is
A MUST
for any SP who tries Heroic Spine of Deathwing where it is important to nuke tendons.
Cons
In terms of overall DPS increment, it is fairly weak one compared to other 4P bonuses. It's a kind of trade-off between burst vs average damage.
It does not favor situations like boss fight under 25%, or multi-target fights, as SW:D and dots get lower priority than MS/MB while shadowfiend is active. This even fades 2P bonus out.
CD for shadowfiend varies by RNG (
) which makes it harder to synchronize it with
and trinket options.

As of 5.0.4 patch the 4P set bonus was changed essentially eliminating burst capabilities of shadow priests. It was good while it lasted :(
