This is a Mythic guide explaining the abilities, how to deal with

Abilities and Explanation
废灵壁垒
– Koragh absorbs all magical damage until the barrier is broken. Once broken he will begin charging up a new barrier.

– While Nullification Barrier is on

he will gain 1 stack of Breaker's Strenght, increasing his damage done by his abilities and attacks. This effect resets once you break the

– While Charging up one player (two players in mythic) can enter the Caustic Energy Surrounding Ko'ragh and buildup their own

that absorbs all magical damage. The amount of magical damage it will absorb depends on the duration the player spend inside the

, more time inside the shield means a larger amount of magical damage the

will absorb. While inside the player(s) will take damage every second and take reduced healing. The damage they take cannot be reduced by any abilities.

will target a random ranged damage dealer or healer to place a Supression Field on their location after charging towards them. This field silences and deals damage to those inside and will also silence Volatile Anomalies to prevent

from triggering.
Expel Magic

will cast a specific type of Expel Magic, afflicting the raid or certain individuals depending on which was cast.
Fire
–

applies a damage over time effect to everyone in the raid, dealing damage while affected and a small area of effect blowup at the end of the duration or when dispelled.
Arcane
–

targets the current tank with

, and he/she will then drop corrupted Arcane energy on the ground which explodes after 1.5 seconds for high damage and take increased physical damage.
Frost
–

will place an orb of Frost in the room, dealing initial damage when it's cast and then slowing the raid members depending on their distance from the orb.
Shadow
–

will place a healing absorb shield on the raid, lasting until enough healing has been done to the target for the debuff to fade.
Mythic Abilities
Fel
– New in Mythic is

will target 3 players that will be marked for 12 seconds. When the Expel Magic: Fel expires, fel fire will spawn between the locations when this debuff was applied and where the afflicted target was standing when it expired.

bleeds from the rune stone, dropping balls of energy from the roof into the room. Once an orb reaches the floor it will explode and deal damage to the raid unless it's intercepted, in which case it will deal high magical damage to the player intercepting it. The players intercepting the Overflowing Energy will need a

with at least 1.5million damage to survive.

– In Mythic, every even wave will be empowered by

and will Mind control the players intercepting the orbs. They will then cast

– Min Controlled players will cast forfeit power, giving a portion of their Nullification Barrier to Ko'ragh when successful. This is interruptible.
Execution
Fight Duration: 4-6 Minutes

can be considered to have 2 phases, one where his nullification barrier is active and the other when he is charging up.
While Ko'ragh is affected by the Nullification barrier, the raid will have to deal enough magical damage to break the barrier before too many waves of

have spawned for the raid to survive or the

from stacking up too much. By breaking the shield you will ensure 2 players can intercept and prevent the damage from hitting the raid and reset the stacks of Breaker's Strength the boss has.
When Ko'ragh targets a player to place a

field be sure to move away before taking damage from it.
Depending on which Expel Magic is cast, the raid will have to react to it. Here is general idea on how to handle each one:
Fire
– Ranged and Healers stays spread on 1 side of the room and can be (mass) dispelled to avoid the damage from the debuff being on the raid. Melee can either immune the application to prevent getting it at all, or spread out towards the end of the duration to not blow each other up when it expires.
Arcane
– The tank that gets

applied to him/her will have to run away and keep running to avoid the corrupted arcane blowing up that he drops on the floor for the duration of the debuff. Other players will also have to stay out of the way of the tank and it's advised for the tank to not run near the raid to avoid people not noticing it.
The tank not affected should taunt the boss when it's cast on the other tank.
Frost
– Possibly the easiest of all Expel Magic's Ko'ragh will cast. Once cast you heal up the damage and are slowed while the orb is up. Keep in mind the further you`re away from the orb the less you're affected by the slow.
Shadow
– Shadow can be dangerous if the raid is low or in combination with other incoming raid damage like

hitting the floor or

dying outside a

. Besides that you just have to heal enough to get remove it from the raid members.
Fel
– If a player is affected by Expel Magic: Fel they have to make sure where they received the initial application so they can move back to that same position near the end of the debuff and not spawn fires that cover large areas of the room. Spawning a small patch of Fel Energy on the initial location will always happen.
When you have dropped the shield of Ko'ragh to 0 he will begin

, moving to the center of the room and then allowing one person (two in mythic) to enter the

around him to also obtain a Nullification barrier of their own.
The raid will want to have this pre-assigned and those not supposed to enter have to make sure not to be in the center area because once entered you cannot change who has the
废灵壁垒
.
Those who are attempting to stack the shield will require the healers attention and have to move in and out of the area if they are dropping too low to prevent themselves from dying.
During the Charging period,

will spawn around

, these should be picked up by a tank and made sure they are not killed until tanked or dragged inside a Suppression Field the boss has placed earlier in the fight. Be aware the oldest fields can despawn while you attempt to kill them, so make sure you place them in a more recent Suppression Field to avoid that from happening. Once all volatile Anomalies have been dealt with and the fight is back to what you started with on the initial pull.
The last mechanic of the fight that has to be taken care of and will increase the longer you have been in this encounter are the
溢流能量
's dropping from the roof. Each wave will have an increasing number of orbs falling down, starting with 1 and then increasing by 1 each time they drop. Also starting from the second set, each even wave of orbs will mind control those who intercepted them. To break the mind control's you will have to deal enough damage to bring them below 20% health to break the effect.
A general guideline to those having the
废灵壁垒
is to always soak orbs falling down with exception to
精神控制
orbs if there are enough soakers for all of them as the raid can survive having 1 orb hit the floor, this will reduce the interrupts and physical damage needed to break all the mind controlled players.
A general idea and assignment for the fight could be:
Wave 1 (1 orb): None
(First Barrier gets broken, 2 players with
废灵壁垒
)
Wave 2: (2 MC orbs): 1 player soaks
Wave 3: (3 orbs): 2 players soak
(Second Barrier gets broken, 4 players with
废灵壁垒
)
Wave 4 (4 mind control orbs): 3 players soak.
Wave 5 (5 orbs): 4 players soak
Wave 6 (6 Mind control orbs): 4 players soak.
(Third Barrier gets broken, 6 players with
废灵壁垒
)
Wave 7 (7 orbs): 6 player soak
At this point the boss should be almost dead and there should be no 8th wave. If this does happen you can have all damage dealers whom deal mostly magical damage and some healers take an orb each in an attempt to have the physical damage dealers survive and finish off the boss.
To prevent the mind controlled players from giving too much of their shield to the boss, you should assign 1-2 players to interrupt them and break the mind control. This has to be physical damage as they are immune to magical damage. Other casters can still help interrupting them as preventing 5% from their shield from being given to the boss is a lot of damage that has to be dealt to him to break the barrier otherwise.
On wave 6 or 8, depending of the boss' health you may decide to not interrupt the mind controlled players any longer and focus all attention to the boss. If you do not need to break the barrier again to kill him interrupting and breaking the mind controls will not gain the raid anything as all they do is charge up his shield which isn't important at that stage.
Raid Setup and Role Assignment
Tanks: 2
2 tanks is optimal for this fight, even though it can be theoretically possible to use only 1 tank it's not advised as the damage output can be very dangerous if certain parts of the fight line up.
Healers: 4-5
The damage in this fight is very controlled and there aren't many dangerous moments. Whenever Expel Magic: Shadow hits is when the raid should watch out, especially if a wave of
溢流能量
is about to hit. You could call out for everyone to use healing tonics at a moment like that.
DPS: 13-14
You will want a balanced setup between magical and physical damage. Keep in mind not all melee damage is pure physical and all ranged damage is magical. There are abilities and classes that deal a mixture of both and if you are uncertain if you have enough magical damage look at the wave order and when each barrier should be broken and remove/add in extra physical or magical damage depending on what will benefit the raid better. Physical damage will kill the boss faster, magical damage will give you more control and last longer. But if you take too many of each you will end up not surviving or not being able to kill the boss.
Tips & Tricks
Tanks:
Having a Protection or Gladiator Warrior use their
(glyphed as
角斗士
and cast on the tank taking that will pick up the
不稳定的畸体
) will make it a lot easier for the tanks to handle the volatile Anomalies.
If you are slowed by the
冰霜宝珠
and get applied the
魔能散射:奥术
debuff, you might want to ask for a freedom ability to prevent yourself from moving too slow and dying from your own corrupted arcane energy that was dropped below you.
Healers:
Having a
萨满祭司
healer with
灵魂链接图腾
can keep up those going inside the
腐蚀能量
while
克拉戈
is charging up very easy as long as there are a couple of raid members standing inside the totem's effect while outside the
腐蚀能量
.
DPS:
When you're assigned to interrupt and damage the mind controlled players and you happen to have the
魔能散射:邪能
debuff, do not be afraid to still move to the assigned player. Others can move out of the fire but not everyone will be able to replace you to interrupt or break the mind control.
