When Aram'el is defeated, the door toward the Temple of Tyranny will open.
Umbral Supplicants
The corridor toward the Temple of Tyranny contains packs of several Umbral Supplicants. Players should mark one Supplicant to focus on, and chain single-target stuns and other incapacitating crowd-control effects as the marked Supplicant reaches 50% health. This should prevent - or at least drastically reduce - the amount of damage the raid takes from

Tyrant Velhari Encounter Mechanics
The Tyrant Velhari encounter is fairly straightforward, but requires excellent raid awareness and fast reactions. The fight has three phases based upon her health:
The first phase, Oppression, begins when players engage Velhari
The second phase, Contempt, begins when players have reduced Velhari to 70% health
The third phase, Malice, begins when players have reduced Velhari to 40% health
Phase Overview
Each phase has a similar structure: Velhari will use a Corrupt Power-generating ability three times to gain 3 charges of Corrupt Power, and will then spend those charges on one cast of a powerful spell.

will cause the debuff to jump to another player, but progress made on reducing the size of the absorption effect will be retained

if the player affected will die before healers can break through the absorption shell

should avoid taking excessive damage when possible

target should run to a prearranged stack point to assist the raid in splitting the damage
Raid cooldowns should be used to mitigate the damage from this ability, particularly in Phase 1 where heavy movement is penalized by

Seal of Decay
Tyrant Velhari's melee attacks have a chance to debuff her target with stacks of
凋零契印
, which reduces the tank's incoming healing and increases the amount of magic damage the tanks will take. This is a tank-swap mechanic, and tanks should be prepared to swap at 2-3 stacks. This is particularly important during Phase 2 where the
蔑视光环
prevents the tanks from being healed to full health.
The abilities and strategies for each phase of the Tyrant Velhari fight are discussed in more detail below. Also note that additional mechanics are present on Heroic mode compared to Normal mode; these extra mechanics are discussed in the
Heroic Difficulty
section below.

Phases
Phase 1: Oppression
Several seconds into the fight, Tyrant Velhari will use
抑制光环
, which causes players to take damage when they move. This damage starts out light, but increases by 10% every 5 seconds, so the longer players stay in this phase, the more dangerous movement will become.
The damage is based upon
time spent moving
and will tick every 0.5 seconds while a player is in motion
Players should minimize movement and use a damage-reduction cooldown if a large amount of movement is required
Heavy movement is still required for the
谴责法令
ability, and the raid will take heavy damage from
抑制光环
during this time
Consider using a

to help players position quickly for the
谴责法令
Players will take damage from moving into position, then from the three ticks of
谴责法令
, and again from spreading back out; use raid cooldowns to heal through this very dangerous part of the phase
Annihilating Strike's pre-warningVelhari will gain Corrupt Power by casting

on random players. The targeted player will gain an arrow over their head, and then several seconds later, Velhari will face the player's current position to cast the cone effect.

deals heavy damage to players standing in the cone effect, and cannot be outranged
Additionally, any player struck by

3 seconds later, the

will erupt in a geyser of flames, dealing moderate damage to players within 3 yards of it and knocking those players through the air
The player targeted by

should move to a clear space to minimize the number of targets affected
Once the

forms, step just out of its graphical effect to avoid taking damage from it; do not over-move!
Occasionally,

will occur while players are stacked for

. The player targeted by

should move out quickly so that the entire raid is not struck by the cone damage and the

Minimize movement during Infernal TempestAfter the third

, Velhari will spend her Corrupt Power on

Every 1.5 seconds for 6 seconds, Velhari will burn all players in the raid with

This damage splashes on to other players within 2 yards, so the melee DPS must be moderately spread out to avoid taking heavy damage
When a player is struck by
地火风暴
, they will create a

at their feet
3 seconds later, the

will erupt in a geyser of flames, dealing moderate damage to players within 3 yards of it and knocking those players through the air
Every player will summon 4

s take 3 seconds to erupt, players can reduce the required movement during this mechanic by letting two

s spawn on top of each other before moving out of them. Once out of the first set of two

s, players can again stand still while the next two

s form, and then move slightly out of this second set. The end result should deal very little

damage and no

damage.
Avoid the Roaring FlamesWhen Velhari reaches 90% health, she will summon an Ancient Enforcer who must be tanked. The Enforcer will periodically cast

spawn a few yards in front of the Ancient Enforcer, and will move in a straight line in the direction the Enforcer is facing

The tank should face the Ancient Enforcer away from the raid, toward an open space where no players are standing, to reduce the chance that anyone will take

Melee DPS can watch the Enforcer's cast bar to determine when this ability will occur and move out of the way of the

before they spawn
Searing Blaze eruptionUnlike the adds in the rest of the fight, the Enforcer's ability is not very dangerous, because it can be aimed in such a way that it only ever affects the Enforcer tank. During this phase, players should focus on dealing as much damage to Tyrant Velhari as possible.
This is particularly important because the third of Velhari's
地火风暴
casts will line up with her second
谴责法令
, at approximately 2 minutes into the fight. The raid should endeavor to push Velhari into Phase 2 before this confluence of abilities, as it is extremely dangerous and players are unlikely to survive without very powerful cooldowns.
By largely ignoring the Enforcer, players should be able to push Velhari into Phase 2 in under 2 minutes without the use of
嗜血
/

/

. If your spec gains single-target damage on Velhari by multi-DoTting, or if your spec has passive cleave that will not significantly reduce your damage on Velhari, feel free to use these abilities to whittle down the Enforcer's health.

Phase 2: Contempt
When Velhari reaches 70% health, she will clear the raid's

. This Aura prevents players from being healed to full health.
Initially, the Aura caps players' health at 80%, but every 13 seconds the cap reduces by 5%
So 13 seconds into the phase, players cannot be healed above 75%; 26 seconds in, they cannot be healed above 70%; and so on
Effective health via absorption effects or damage reduction cooldowns is very valuable in this phase
When possible, the raid should save cooldowns like

At the start of this phase, the Ancient Enforcer from Phase 1 is likely to still be alive. Players should switch to the Enforcer and kill it quickly.

Phase 3: Malice
When Velhari reaches 40% health, she will clear the raid's

initially increases player damage by 10%, and increases damage taken by 20%
Each 5 seconds, these effects increase by 10%

on the current tank and several other random players. Each player will take moderate Shadow damage, and a patch of

will form beneath their feet.

When to use Legendary Ring Effects
The DPS legendary ring effect should be used at the start of the fight with stacked CDs and a pre-pot, to quickly reduce Velhari's health and shorten Phase 1. Additional uses of this ring effect should be timed to increase DPS on the Ancient Harbinger and Ancient Sovereign adds that spawn early in Phase 2 and Phase 3.
The healing legendary ring effect should be used as a raid CD during every second
谴责法令
. The absorption effect that is applied at the end of the ring's effect will be useful for reducing raid damage between Edicts.
The tank legendary ring should be used to mitigate damage from the
地火风暴
,
邪污暗影
, and

abilities.
Looking For Raid Difficulty
All of the mechanics of this fight remain intact in LFR, but the radius of most of the splash-damage abilities has been lowered so that accidental stacking is not heavily penalized.
Heroic Difficulty
On Heroic difficulty, when any of the three adds spawns during the fight, they will immediately cast

, dealing damage to all players and knocking them back. This effect occurs no matter where the player is standing in relation to the summoned add, and is most dangerous during the Oppression Phase since players will have to move in order to reset their position.
Additionally, the Ancient Harbinger in Heroic difficulty is buffed with

. Each time players interrupt

, the Harbinger gains

, which causes the next cast of the spell to be cast 15% faster. This effect stacks, so eventually the
先驱愈合
cast time will become too quick to reliably interrupt.
These new mechanics do not significantly change the mechanics of the fight, but players will have to be more coordinated and careful in interrupting the Ancient Harbinger.

Mythic Difficulty
On Mythic Difficulty, the Auras associated with each phase are permanent, but grow weaker after Velhari transitions into the next phase. So, for example, a raid group may spend a long enough time in the Oppression phase to reach 60k damage on movement from the
抑制光环
, but once they push Velhari to the Contempt phase, the Oppression damage will rapidly taper off. Players will still be penalized for moving for the rest of the fight, but the damage will be much weaker.
Similarly, after pushing Velhari into the Malice phase, the
蔑视光环
remains, but players will gradually be allowed to heal to a higher health percentage as the Malice phase continues. The
抑制光环
will also still remain in a very weak state, but damage from movement will be affected by the
怨恨光环
, so it is even more important for players to minimize movement during the final phase.
The
谴责法令
ability is empowered on Mythic difficulty, reducing its target's movement speed by 70%.
This means that the Heroic mode strategy of having the Edict target run into melee or a designated stack point is unlikely to work
The raid can instead run to the Edict target, or players can Leap of Faith the Edict target onto a stack point
Note that Leap of Faith will cause the targeted player to take one tick of
抑制光环
damage
The
裂伤之触
ability is also empowered on Mythic difficulty, dealing 15% of the target's
current
health as damage every 2 seconds while the player is debuffed.
The targeted player's health will dwindle quickly under the
裂伤之触
effect
Healers will have to dispel
裂伤之触
as the affected player's health dips low
The
裂伤之触
damage can be absorbed, so Discipline Priests with
意志洞悉
can prevent a lot of this damage
This extends the amount of time that throughput healers have to heal down the
裂伤之触
effect before it must be dispelled
Similarly,

or
守护之魂
(particularly with the
) can be used at the start of a fresh
裂伤之触
effect to quickly heal off a large portion of the healing absorption shield
Enforcer's Onslaught summons two Roaring FlamesFinally, the Ancient Enforcer and Ancient Harbinger adds are more powerful on Mythic difficulty.
The Ancient Enforcer will summon two
咆哮烈焰
fireballs, instead of one, with the

ability
Both fireballs will travel in the direction the Enforcer is facing, but angle away from each other
Melee DPS must use the 2-second cast time on

to position themselves out of the path of both fireballs, to avoid

damage and to prevent

The Enforcer tank should be certain to face the add away from the majority of the raid, especially late in the phase when movement is heavily penalized
Tanks and Melee DPS may wish to use personal damage-reduction cooldowns while moving out of the way of the
咆哮烈焰
The Ancient Harbinger's
急迫
reduces cast times by 20% per stack, rather than 10%

is best used during the second phase, to limit the amount of time players are exposed to the

This fight sounds extremely intense, in terms of managing stacking, positioning and movement. I predict it will be a sticking point for a few guilds until they have a chance to practice each phase.

Great guide!
But just a note for the next one you write: the spells are all linked to ptr, players that read the site at another language can't read the spell and tooltips in their native language.
