Don't want to pay milions of gold for TGC pets?
Haven't real money to buy tons of in-game shop pets?
Don't you have enough time to spent hours and hours by catching extra rare pets?
Can't find super guild to complete legendary achievements with pet rewards?
You are still able to complete Celestial Tournament - easily and fast.
This tournament should be the top of pet battles in Pandaria datadisc. You can start it by talking to
Master Li
and taking
The Celestial Tournament
quest. You have to defeat a group of three pet masters during first round and four legendary pets during final round. There are three different groups of pet masters which rotate every week, but legendary pets in the final round (Celestials) are still the same. Be prepared for really hard battles.
I don't think, that there is someone who doesn't know basic facts about this tournament, but here is a
fast summary
for sure. This tournament can be completed once per week (
weekly quest
) and only by one char on your account (
account-wide quest
). You have to have
15+ battle-pets on lvl 25
and
char with level 90
for starting the quest. You have
unlimited time and number of attempts
, but you have to complete it without break (
you lose any progress if you leave tournament scenario
). The biggest problem is
prohibition of healing and reviving pets between fights
, but still there is a way how you can heal wounded pets (check next tab in this table for more info). I use abbreviations "
Q/H/A
" in my strategies. It means "
Q
uit current fight,
H
eal your pets and start this fight
A
gain" if anything of what I write below happens. And of course, "
Q/H/A
" is the best way if enemy scores more critical hits in a row (single critical hit in case of Celestials).
Due to the tournament restrictions, you can forget
or
. Healing pets in tournament is based on fact, that escaping from the fight doesn't reduce pet's health by 10%.
So you can start fight with your pet-healer, cast AoE healing spell and flee.
Again and again, until your battle-pets will be healed. All what you need is enemy without damaging ability in the first round. Here is the list:
Group 1:
Dr. Ion Goldbloom
-
Screamer
starts with
Group 2:
Wrathion
-
Cindy
starts with
Group 3:
Wise Mari
-
Carpe Diem

Celestials:
Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon
starts with
You can use all existing AoE healing spells like
or
, but most powerful is
. And you can use any accessible pet, but strength of this spell depends on Power. Thats the reason, why i have
Stinker
in my army. It is only one pet with P/P Breed and
.
This table contains info about battle-pets which i used in my strategies. Surely there exist battle-pets, which can be more effective in specific situations, but my main reasons for this squad are "pets accessibility", "reduction of random chance" and "total number of pets". And this guide is final result of my experiences with pet battles and Celestial tournament itself. Battle-pets are sorted by source. Auction house prices are from EU Server Silvermoon updated by June 2014.

GROUP 1
Start with
Sully "The Pickle" McLeary
, because there is still small chance to lose this fight in case of very bad luck whereas
Lorewalker Cho
is really easy. It is almost impossible to fail the fight with him.
Dr. Ion Goldbloom
should be the last one, because he can be used for healing your pets.

Immortal round
, because there is no sense in doing any damage in this round.
Monte

can be refreshed next round, because this ability is targeting enemy team, not burrowed pet. Continue by spamming
till
Swamp Croaker
dies.
Kun-Lai Runt
needs only

Monte

Rikki

and then use
or
till
Kun-Lai Runt

Tiny Sporebat
starts with

Swamp Croaker

can do low damage with bad luck.

Strategy
Screamer
will use
during the first round after its health drops under 50%. That is the reason, why we want to kill him almost instantly. Charge and fire
as the first step (733,
Screamer
is still over 50%) and then use
(over 1000,
Screamer
will be dead). Use
if
Legs
survives recharging, but it will probably die. Bring
Scourged Whelpling
into the battle and spam
only.
Chaos
will be down in a couple of rounds. When
Trike
enters into the battle, continue with
till
Scourged Whelpling
dies. With
Darkmoon Zeppelin
start in the following order:
,
and then use
to finish this fight.
Potential problems
Don't try to use
, if
Screamer
hasn't 801-1000 (in case of critical
).

GROUP 2
Start with
Taran Zhu
, because this fight is a bit chaotic due to swapping of pets. If you fail, you can start again without losing any progress.
Chen Stormstout
is easy. His pets are more predictable so you can win without big problems.
Wrathion
should be the last one, because he can be used for healing your pets. His last pet is a bit tough, but you can lower it's HP before it enters the battle.

Strategy
Yen
's
is very strong in combo with
, so you want send him backward as fast as possible. Start with
. Poweful attack ruins his HP under 50% even without crit and forces him to use
in 2nd round (
Bolo
will come). Use that round for swapping stunned
Ghostly Skull
for
Fossilized Hatchling
-
and swap back. Keep Skull alive by spamming
until
and than swap again and
.
Yen
is almost dead (or dead) by that time, so use
to finish
Bolo
(swap if he casts
again) and try
in
Ghostly Skull
's
Immortal round
. Both your undead pets can die faster then
Bolo
with extremely bad luck, but
Tiny Sporebat
is still able to finish him with
(
Yen
too, if needed) and against
Li
is very effective -
is weak against Flying and with passive bonus is faster, so there will be no stuns from
. Start with
and spam
until you win.
Potential problems
Bolo
can cast
in its 1st round (never happened to me).

. When
Alex
comes into battle, continue with

Swamp Croaker

Scourged Whelpling
starts with

(best for wounding
Dah'da
in the backline, because it is much stronger). If
Alex

Scourged Whelpling
, hit
Dah'da

.
Anubisath Idol
destroys whatever survives with

GROUP 3
Start with
Shademaster Kiryn
, because
Tiny Sporebat

can do low damage and you can lose this fight in case of bad luck. You can repeat tournament without losing any progress if this happens. Fight against

is easy and predictable.
Wise Mari

Lightning Storm
(
) and greatly decrease damage from

Summer

CELESTIALS
You have the same pets for all four battles, don't let them die. Your opponents are powerful legendary Celestials that can kill your pet in two rounds with critical hits. For this reason, don't be lazy to repeat the fight in case of enemy's critical hit. It is better than repeating the whole tournament. And of course, don't forget to heal your pets back to 100% with
Stinker
after each battle. Strategy is very similar for all Celestials - cast
and
, swap pets and use
. In the same round there will be an impact of both offensive spells (with nice damage bonus) and enemy will be stunned. With
which will be cast next round (still with damage bonus), you can do more than 1800 (without critical hit) against
Elite pets
. I called it
"GWHS"
.
I'll level with you, there is a weak spot in my strategy. You can lose the fight and whole tournament progress without doing anything wrong.
Xu-Fu
will kill
Chrominius
in 7th round in case of critical hit (5% chance) and you can't prevent it. You can only have 2nd
Chrominius
as backup or repeat tournament if this happens. Nevertheless this chance is really low, so don't be scared.
Start with problematic
Xu-Fu
- if you should fail, then it's better at the beginning. Doesn't matter if you continue with
Chi-Chi
or
Zao
, but you have to keep
Yu'la
for the last fight. This dragonkin can be used for healing your pets and you will lose
Chrominius
and
Darkmoon Zeppelin
during that fight (these losses aren't problem, tournament ends after the fight).

Darkmoon Zeppelin

with its unattackable round but

Yu'la

I am a little confused with one area in this strategy. That is to do with the Scourged Whelpling. It is used to defeat Goldbloom, however during your strategy it dies (continue with till Scourged Whelpling dies.) and then it is used again against Wrathion later in the tournament. Is there some way that you are bringing your pets back after dead or do we need two for this strategy?

Unfortunately I didn't have a Viscidus Globule for the Chen Stormstout fight so I substituted it for chuck and just ripped and used blood in the water and the fight was over quick.
Your strategy with the Celestial bosses was great however by the time I reached Yu'la the pets were near death; so I used Peddlefeet, Anubisath Idol, and Clock'em. Someone had mentioned a similar strategy starting with Peddlefeet and using perfumed shot first to see if it stuns and forfeiting if not. I ended up never having to bring clock'em into the fight.

SUPER GUIDE! Thanks so much.
After I assembled the whole team of 18 pets and won the tournament, I realized there was a bit of a shortcut I could have taken. If you want to get started as soon as possible, enter the tournament, observe which of the three groups (1, 2, or 3) is up that week, and exit the scenario. Then to start fighting you need only:
the pets for that week's group
the pets for the Celestials
your healer (Stinker or substitute)
If you want to accumulate Celestial Coins, it's good to start as soon as you can.

Is there not a way to rate your guide? I just followed this guide and did everything exactly as you said except for I didn't use Legs because he's too expensive on my server right now. It worked flawlessly! The battles were very easy the way you have the strategies setup and what I thought would take me a couple hours took under 30 minutes - and that was my first time doing it and I had to keep alt tabbing to read each step of your guide. Great work! Wish I could give you a thumbs up or something!

After I gathered all the required pets as outlined out in this guide I finally decided to give this tournament a go. The good thing is that Chrosta honestly exposes all potential problems in his strategy, so you can mentally prepare yourself for eventual loss. Because in my first attempt
克洛玛尼斯
got brutally wrecked by
雪福,雪怒的幼崽
. So I got myself a backup Chrominius, and started all over again. The 2nd attempt went like a breeze and I am now the proud owner of
雪福,雪怒的幼崽

Very nice guide indeed. I had been gathering lots more pets and trying to level way more than what was covered in this guide.
If I were to make one suggestion it would be to add the abilities your pet uses in each group selection. So for instance say for going against sully just add something like Swamp Croaker(222). But overall that's the only thing I can really say, each fight was explained pretty well including possible problems.

So, the only thing I'm curious about is this. The strats provided here, is this the way Blizz envisioned the tournament being completed? Because that healing method seems ... exploity? Can't think of a better word. Like, it feels like Blizz wouldn't have implemented the ruleset, particularly for the 4 celestials, if there wasn't a trio of pets that could do that without that weird healing trick.

Chrosta,
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this guide! I'm an avid pet collector and I've been itching to get those Celestial Pets ever since it came out. I've tried countless tactics and teams, usually managing to beat the tamers but always getting tripped up on the sheer power of those Celestials and the inability to bandage or heal them out of combat. I can't believe I didn't think to use a team heal from one of the pets but I'm SO glad you did!
This guide... there are no words to convey how elated I was to complete the Tournament for the first time tonight. I have no doubt it took weeks and/or months of research and your own testing to form this complete of a guide. As others have said, the fact that you point out the flaws and specify so clearly when to forfeit and retry saves anyone that uses your guide so much time and frustration.
Thank you for all the blood, sweat, tears, time and effort you put into this guide. Anyone who asks me about the Tournament from now on will be directed right here.
You're amazing. I just gotta say that. =)

I don't yet have Legs or Coilfang Stalker, and I wasn't having much luck with strategies found elsewhere. While looking up strategies for the garrison dailies, I found this use of Bling which worked on Goldbloom's Screamer and avoided Feign Death:
Round 1: Extra Plating
Round 2: Launch Rocket - this readies the rocket, but doesn't fire it yet
Round 3 to 5: Inflation - this will put a debuff on him to take double damage.
Round 6: Launch Rocket - this actually fires the earlier rocket, killing
No doubt this is RNG-dependent, so I would actually suggest starting with Goldbloom.

I didn't see this suggestion anywhere, if there is one already I apologize. At any rate, for the Team 1 Strats, I don't have a Legs yet, but I did have a Coilfang Stalker (H/B) and used the set up: Focused Beams/Illusionary Barrier/Surge of Power.
At first, Screamer just wrecked me. But I was determined to get this to work, since I don't want to wait a few weeks for Children's Week to start, to get my Legs.
Round 1: Cast Illusionary Barrier: Screamer will Lift-Off
Round 2: Pass - Screamer finishes lift-off but your barrier blocks the attack
Round 3: Cast Focused Beams: Screamer will attack, but your barrier blocks the attack, you attack 2nd and your hit lands.
Round 4: Cast Focused Beams again
Round 5: Cast Surge of Power:Screamer should die
When your recovery period ends, you might have some health left. Doubtful, but I have had it happen, continue strat as normal.
Originally I was trying to use focused beam in round 2, but that would miss from my barrier being up but the beam is buffed the next round. So using focused beams two more times would always get him to that 50% threshold, he would cast FD and screw up the strat. Usually Trike would come out, and beat my team down pretty hard. I would always lose the Zeppelin. The above strat adjustment worked beautifully though.

Whoo. I leveled SOOOO many pets in preparation for the tournament then i saw your guide and leveled the remaining ones I didn't have for it already leveled. I ended up beating the tournament no problem. Was one or two times I cringed when I thought a pet might die soon in a fight, but in the end beat it without any trouble. Now only 9x more for 9x more coins for the other 3 pets right? Thanks so much! great guide. Didn't even end up using more than half the pets I originally gathered based on other guides.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've gotten through the tournament twice so far using your guide, with no issues. A concise, well-written and easy-to-follow guide that even the non-professional pet battlers can follow. The only pets that are a little tougher to get are Legs and Pandaren Water Spirit. I managed to get both on the AH for reasonable prices, but I do not for a second believe the alleged 10% drop rate on the PWS from the Pandaren Spirit Tamer battle...
Editing to add: I've now defeated all the last set of trainers. As before, with no problems at all!

This guide was amazing! Three days after I found it I had the tournament beaten (had a few pets to level).
It is so clear and easy to follow. Previously I found the idea of the tournament quite daunting, but this made it fool-proof.
I completed it during a week with team one, and I was missing the pet "Legs" and the Tiny Sporebat to beat Sully. I substituted in Chrominius for Legs. Round one I cast Arcane Blast, as Scream ascends for lift off. Round two I used Howl and Round Three used Surge to take out Screamer. This worked perfectly, as per your "Legs" strat. I made sure to have a second Chrominius incase the substitute died, but he survived the fight.
In place of the Tiny Sporebat I used a Mei Li Sparkler, from the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. It has the same abilities as the Sporebat, so the strat was unchanged.
Thanks again for this awesome guide! Couldn't have done it without you :D

First try, my Chrominus died so I swapped out (which obviously you can do now on the last fight? but it worked) with Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Peddlefeet, Coilfang Stalker. I swapped between MPD and Peddlefeet with decoy and Perfumed Arrow...CS dies pretty quickly.

Just made an account to firstly say amazing guide, truly :)
Also a question which may seem stupid to others, but its confusing me. I'm noticing a fair few pets are used more than once. Are they actually the same pet or do you just have more than 1?
Reason I ask and for example, grp 1 sully needs kun-lai runt, in the desc. it says "until dead". But then the runt is needed for another NPC and we cannot ress pets during the tournie.
So this confused me, am I going to need 2 sporebats, 2 kun-lai runts etc, as I'm seeing alot of "will prolly die" or "do <action> until it dies".
I could understand if there was healing between tamers, but writing that it dies, then needing it elsewhere confuses me greatly.
Any help appreciated, especially if its glaringly obvious and I'm just being incredibly thick :D

Ive been using this guide for awhile and I appreciate the great work put into it, its been a lifesaver in terms of time spent and the memory of an old man isnt so good either. Hi, this is a great guide. Thank you for putting it together!
Quick question: Do all of the captured pets have to be of Rare quality for this to work? The only element I'm missing is a Rare Swamp Croaker (I think I have an Uncommon one, but I can't remember), and I don't look forward to trying to farm an Aquatic battle-stone to upgrade the frog.

Seems things has changed in patch 6.2.0.
I had to defeat Ion Goldbloom with an alternate strategy since following your guide ended in killing my team.
Xu-Fu and Chi-Chi could barely be defeated if you are lucky and none of them makes a critical.
Anyway, by the time you fight Zao, those pets that you recommend are too low on HP. When Pandaren Spirit casts Geyser, Zao kills him, ruining all the strategy.
I can't imagine how you could reach and defeat Yu'la, even if for some reason the stars get aligned and Zao didn't killed your pets by that time.
Maybe this guide worked on previously patches, but now it's outdated.

I Found a great replacement for Legs!
Using Mini Mindslayer with Mana Surge, Amplify Magic, and Life Exchange. Start with Amplify Magic on Screamer then cast Mana Surge. Screamer died for me after the second round of Mana Surge. When Chaos came out he was hit with the last Mana Surge and I followed it up with Life Exchange. At this point Chaos had only half health but my attacks are were on cooldown so he killed my Mindslayer. I brought in my Scourged Whelpling and spammed Tail Sweep to kill Chaos. I continued spamming Tail Sweep on Trikes until he died and I never even got to my Darkmoon Zeppelin. I hope this can help those like me that don't have legs.

Firstly, thanks for the guide, it was a great resource when I ran into a problem fight!
I wanted to share something I really enjoyed finding when trying to kill Xu-Fu. I don't have Darkmoon Zepp so my Howl/Bomb team died taking out Yu-la. Xu-Fu then methodically tore through team after team (I have 50 max level pets, I think he took out 20ish). The team I ended up finding to take him out was Crazy Carrot/Ikky/X.
T1: Crazy Carrot uses Blistering Cold.
T2: Crazy Carrot uses Ironbark.
T3: Crazy Carrot dies.
Enter Ikky.
T4: Ikky uses Black Claw.
T5: Ikky uses Flock.
Xu-Fu will end up taking out Ikky but between Black Claw and Flock, the Blistering Cold ticks will kill Xu-Fu and your final pet won't even have to enter the battlefield.

Don't really know what changed since MoP but there's one part that needs to be revisited:

: With the given line-up (ghostly skull, fossil hatchling, tiny sporebat) and the given breeds, I can't get even close to beat those monks. Tried 7 times in a row: no bad crits / no good crits but at half of the fight it's already lost, over and over. After the 2nd
骨头风暴
the fossilized hatchling is already dead by Bolo's counterhit, or it survives with <5% HP. In the next turn (or 1 more), my Ghostly Skull also gets raped by Bolo every time, despite the selfheals.
To counter this problem, I used an
easy combo
of
红玉小水滴
(H/S) 2,2,2 and
花园飞蛾
(H/S) 2,1,2, I didn't even need a 3rd pet. Surprisingly, the Ruby Droplet was almost able to solo all 3 pandarens (with some luck), but is totally able to kill the first 2 even without luck. The Moth can kill the last guy in a few turns aswell.
Other than that, I followed your guide precisely and everything worked well. Nice work!

With WoD, a good alternative to Stinker is the Pygmy Cow. It is another easy to get pet with a stronger heal. Since you are only using the pet to heal your others, its Mother's Milk ability heals for a lot more. It is no big deal either way, but you may save yourself a round or two healing using it instead of Stinker.

I did swap in some of my own pet combinations based on type match ups for the pet battle trainers where I didn't have all the pets you used levelled up. So I only had to level Pandaren Water Spirit to win the tournament - managed to do on the first day I tried it.
For those interested here are the teams that worked for me:
Taran Zhu: Fel Pup, Lost Netherpup, Mr. Grubbs
Chen Stormstout: Mechanical Axebeak, Lil' Bad Wolf, Yellow-bellied Bullfrog
Wrathion: Mud Jumper, Scourged Whelpling, Widget the Departed
Kiryn: Fel Pup, Crimson Shale Hatchling, Darkmoon Zeppelin
Blingtron: Mud Jumper, Electrfied Razortooth, Fel Flame
Wise Mari: Jade Owl, Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, Oily Slimeling
For healing I used Blossoming Ancient.

But with so much time spent in Draenor lately, I had forgotten all my planned moves and team alternates (in case one died). I found your guide, leveled a few pets up to create the teams you suggest and finished in record time!
Thank you also, for explaining the healing strategy with Stinker. I had never before used it and found it to be so much easier than having alternates in case a fight went bad! Anyone who is having trouble (at least with Group1 and the celestials) has to remember to quit the fight and heal up if there are problems and be sure to heal all 3 pets between each celestial.

Use

until the turn that Yu'la is up in the air.
Use

(Always save for when Yu'la is up in the air)
Murder with Tornado punch on cooldown with Jabs between. You'll make quick work of the fight.
You can use your Zepplin's explode if Yu'la manages to kill Bonkers (Really unlucky).

I had been fighting against this tournament for a long time, simply because I wanted to try a different strat other than howl bomb.. Just being stubborn I guess. I finally committed myself to finishing it for the goal not for the adventure and everything went exactly as laid out here.
If you are new here, scroll down you don't actually need 18 pets you can start with less depending on what tamers you fight that week. Essentially you would never need all 18, just the ones for the week that you wanted to concentrate on. Had I known that I probably would have started earlier.

I was unlucky enough to have to use my Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling at the starting trainers (it's a great sub for Zeppelin) and it was dead. So I had to improvise.
I used
夺日者微型哨兵

The

FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR LEGION ALTERNATIVES:
This obviously won't be any one-shot combo working on all 4 celestials, however they are working alternatives.
Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen
Your team:
#1
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti
- any pet with
Call Lightning
will do
......... with
Call Lightning
#2
Lil' Bling
......... with
Inflation
and
Make it Rain
#3
Clockwork Gnome
(backup, never needed it so far)
......... with
Build Turret
Strategy:
1.
Call Lightning
2.
Switch to Lil' Bling
3.
Make It Rain
4.
Inflation
Due to a weird bug, the battle ends when Xu-Fu is at like 500 hp and you get credited a win. I don't care, it works. In case it failed, Clockwork Gnome should be able to finish it with ease.
Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji
Strategy taken from
user stym's comment
.
Your team:
Any snails will do, but these are the ones I used:
#1
Shimershell Snail
(H/P) - this is the best snail in the game, the only one with H/P breed
......... with
Ooze Touch
,
Acidic Goo
and
Dive
#2
Rapana Whelk
(H/B)
......... with
Ooze Touch
,
Acidic Goo
and
Dive
#3
Any pet with magic abilities will do, but I use
Arcane Eye
......... with
Focused Beams
,
Eye Blast
and
Interrupting Gaze
- these don't matter at all, you would have to be very unlucky to get to use the third pet
Strategy:
1.
Pass
2.
Acidic Goo
3.
Dive, part 1 (Ethereal)
4.
Dive, part 2
5.
Ooze touch
6.
Acidic Goo
7.
Swap to Snail #2
8.
Ooze touch
9.
Ooze touch
10.
Ooze touch - Dead Chi-Chi
Unless you get some bad rng, you generally kill him with just the snails and they both get to survive.
Zao, Calfling of Niuzao
Your team:

Unborn Val'kyr
(both breeds work, but B/B is slightly safer)
......... with
Curse of Doom
and
Unholy Ascension
#2
Tranquil Mechanical Yeti
- any pet with
Call Lightning
will do
......... with
Call Lightning
#3
Lil' Bling
- Any pet with
Flock
/
Stampede
that's faster than Zao will do.
......... with
Inflation
and
Make it Rain
Strategy:
1.
Curse of Doom
2.
Haunt, switch to Yeti
3.
Call Lightning, Switch to Lil'Bling
4.
Inflation, Zao should be dead on the second round.
Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon
Strategy taken from
user valepu's comment

Your team:
#1
Mr. Bigglesworth
......... with
Claw
,
Ice Barrier
and
Ice Tomb
.
Strategy:
1.
Claw
2.
Ice Tomb
3.
Ice Barrier
4.
Pass
5.
Claw
6.
Claw
7.
Repeat (including first Claw) until Yu'la is dead.
This one is quite lengthy compared to the others, however it only takes one pet and it's almost a 100% success rate, also the pet is easy to get, so why not.
Hope this helps to anyone looking to beat the celestials after the Howl bomb nerf, I'm sorry if anyone is offended by me stealing other people's strategies, but I just thought it might be nice putting them all in one place.

I followed the guide provided by Fermander except for the fight against Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon.
Instead I used´:
Grommloc
: Vicious Slice, Clobber and Takedown
Anubisath Idol
: Deflection
Bonkers
: Jab,Dodge, Haymaker
(there's better alternatives than Bonkers, like the Kun'lai Runt with Takedown, Frost Shock and Deep Freeze but mine was dead due to earlier encounter).
1. Vicious Slice
2. Clobber
3. Takedown
4. Swap to
Anubisath Idol
5. Use deflection
6. Swap to
Bonkers
or something else
7. Use one oneround attack (Haymaker)
8. Again (Jab)
9. Again (Jab)
10. Swap to Anubisath Idol
11. Deflection
12. Swap to
Grommlock
and start from step 1.
Bonkers was there to soak some dmg and get a little damage in on her.

The patch 7.0.3 changed the Pandaren Water Spirit abilities. Now Geyser and Whirlpool share the same slot, and thus the strategy for the celestials of this guide can't be used anymore.

Hey, I just wanted to say great guide and its helped a lot, GREAT JOB! As of legion pre-patch, they changed the talents for the Pandaren Water Spirit so you have to choose between Whirlpool and Geyser and can not have both. Im honestly too lazy to come up with a plan on my own and just wanted to give you all a heads up. Thanks, and good luck :)

Can confirm that as of May 9, 2017 all 3 weeks with the guide's battle pets work perfectly. If you're not up to date you will not be able to howl bomb the celestials. I would recommend using Xu-fu's tournament planner. I use 834171985 for the celestials. It requires 8 pets that are not used for any of the trainers.

The guide is wonderful, but it need some reviews since the
Pandaren Water Spirit
's
Whirlpool
and
Geyser
bomb didn't work anymore.

For
雪福,雪怒的幼崽
after the Pandarian Water Spirit nerf:
Any slow pet with Call Lightning (e.g. Tranquil Mechanical Yeti, Sunreaver Micro-Sentry)
Clockwork Gnome (For Turret)
Any Chicken (for Flock)
Call Lightning will clear Xu-Fu's Moonlight.
Switch to Clockwork Gnome
Build Turret
Switch to Chicken
Flock
For
赤芝,赤精的雏鸟
:
Unborn Val'kyr (2,2,2)
Emerald Proto-Whelp (2,2,X)
Solid backup pet
Curse of Doom
Shadow Shock until immortal round
Unholy Ascension
Bring out Emerald Proto-Whelp
Emerald Presence
Spam Emerald Bite
Depending on the RNGods, Proto-Whelp may finish Chi-Chi off or you may need a hit or two with the backup pet.
For
皂皂,砮皂的幼犊
:
Pet with Call Lightning
Clockwork Gnome (with Turret)
Zandalari Anklerender/Kneebiter (Hunting Party)
Call Lightning
Swap to Gnome
Build Turret

I did get lucky with a miss in the Clockwork Gnome swap round, but it should be fine regardless.

I don't know how many people are doing the Celestial Tournament anymore, but I've been recently going back and doing battle pets. This guide is fantastic, with the one exception that it does not account for the nerf to Pandaren Water Spirits that mean you can have either whirlpool OR geyser, not both. Still working on alternative strats for the bosses those abilities were used on.

Very minor note: To replace Tiny Sporebat RNG from the vendor, you can capture a
暗影孢子蝠
with the same abilities, and breed!

Due to geyser and whirlpool being moved to the 3 slot, a lot of the strat with that pet no longer works

How should i use my zeppelin on both Dr. Ion Goldbloom and again on Xu-Fu and 2 of the other celestials?

For Chi-Chi, I've tried several, but there are two on Chi-Chi's comments that have worked reliably.

Defeated Celestial Tournament with this strategy 04/2020.
Got Group 1 and used Benax, Runt and a Falcosaur (only needed the Slice) for Sully; Nether Faerie Dragon, Mechanical Dragonling and Anubisath Idol for Cho; and then Legs, Scourged Whelpling and a healed up Mechanical Dragonling for Goldbloom. Then I used the Legion Alternatives comment to finish up. Still great strategies! Thanks for the help!

This guide is amazing! I haven't collected yet the all pets, but I just cheked them, and I saw, that they are easy to obtain. I just want to ask, what is the difference beetwen Darkmoon Zeppelin and Mechanikal Pandaren Dragonling? Of course I use a Rare mechanical pandaren dragonling.
From other side, a lot of people don't want to rep with Sporeggar. I think it is very easy, I personally did it in three days, but my server is nearly dead. Only a few players are online.
I don't know how to link sites, if someone knows it please write.

Instead of using Stinker to heal, those who have him, can (and should) use Alterac Brew-Pup, whose Good Stuff skill heals other friendly pets for 370. All this does is remove a healing round or two, but there it is.

Confused as to how you can have a Pandaren Water Spirit with both Whirlpool & Geyser abilities at the same time? What am I missing?
