This guide has been updated in patch 8.0.1 in Battle for Azeroth, and thus Howl Bomb combinations have been removed as they are no longer working.
If you’re looking to track your collections, Wowhead now has the
Battle Pet Collection Tracker
and
Mount Collection Tracker
! To use the tracker, simply import your character to view your collections.
You can read more about how to use this feature here!
"Why do you keep telling me to swap my Carry Pet in and out without using any of its abilities? How will it get XP if it doesn't attack?"
The only time a Carry Pet actually needs to use an ability (or Pass a round) is:
a) if the Carry Pet is used as the opening Pet against an opponent, or
b) the Carry Pet is swapped in immediately after another Pet has died

Bad luck with crits from Crusher and Pounder can occasionally result in Red Cricket dying (generally within the first couple Turns against Pounder). This is incredibly rare, however. Personally, I've been using this strategy almost daily for close to a year and I can count on one hand how many times my Red Cricket has died. This is just by far the most reliable of the many, many others I've tried

Thank you so much for this guide, Gygz! I found a similar one on here, but it only included maybe 4 of the trainers, and they put in a lot less effort in the guide's presentation. This'll help me out immensely when power-leveling my new Chi-chi, hatchling of Chi-ji, which I used your FANTASTIC Tournament guide to get!
Keep up the great work with your pet guides!

Thank you, fantastic guide!
My strategy for the Flowing Pandaren Spirit is a bit similar to yours... I use an Imperial Eagle Chick (P/P), using Slicing Wind/Cyclone/Lift Off. It has a greater speed stat than Marley and TipToe (unless Eagle goes below 50% health). I use Lift Off on turn 3 when Marley dives to avoid it. Eagle usually solo's Marley with full health remaining, and with varying RNG, usually ends with around 50% health from Tiptoe. This depends greatly on whether Tiptoe uses tidal wave or water jet as its attacks, but Eagle chick almost always survives. I then swap in carry pet, as you suggest, while the water spirit does geyser/whirlpool, then switch to Rapana Whelk and avoid those attacks with Dive. Water spirit usually dies within a couple rounds.
My strategy for Farmer Nishi is also similar, but I choose Garden Frog (or any other frog will work) for the fight. Definitely the key to this fight is changing the weather to something other than Sunlight. I like the frog better because it has Swarm of Flies, which basically negates Siren's healing, and CAN damage the turnip (Toothbreaker) while underground!
Just another couple strategies, thought it would be useful to include!

Great guide! I enjoy the step by step instructions for the fights that I don't know as well. Some of the dailies I have a strat that I usually do but others I constantly forget so having this here all in one place is so much easier than finding the right page and searching the comments to find the strat I was using. Plus, there were a couple that I couldn't find a good strat for and yours worked amazingly (sometimes I even gave in and just did 3 25's to get it out of the way)!
Also just a note on No-No...
You have:
Did No-No just use Beaver Dam?
Yes. Press Pass until No-No dissolves it with his own attacks
No. Continue to next priority
If you use Alpha Strike above 50% health it will hit twice and get rid of it in that one round. Otherwise when you pass you probably have to wait 2 rounds.

These are great! The strategy for Shu helped immensely, since he's one of the ones I usually struggle with.
A much faster strategy for Courageous Yon involves using a Nether Faerie Dragon (Arcane Blast/Life Exchange/Moonfire) and any strong mechanical (I like Son of Animus for the self-heal). Open with Moonfire, switch the carry pet in on Piqua's Lift-Off, switch back to the Faerie Dragon, then Arcane Blast until Piqua's dead. Life Exchange on the first turn against Lapin, Arcane Blast, then switch in the mechanical when the NFD dies to deal with Bleat.

For Burning Pandaren I have a preference for:
Turn 1: Crush
Turn 2: Sandstorm
This way you get an opportunity to strike with Crush at 80% instead of 70% after applying the sandstorm + sandstorm is weak against Crimson so no big deal if you loose its damage.

Excellent guide, thankyou ever so much. Made these fights far more fun for someone of my meagre skill level. Just one note - your pet listing asks for an Emerald Proto-Whelp of breed P/P for the Whispering Pandaren Spirit. Mine is P/B and the strategy works just fine :) thankyou!

does anyone have a better strat for nitun? The "bad" rng I get on this is crazy. I rarely get surge of power off.
Edit: After about 10 tries, I switched up to the 3 Moth strat from no-no. Defeated him on the 2nd moth.

I find that using two S/S Kneebiter/Anklerender against both Ka'wi the Gorger and Lucky Yi with Black Claw, Hunting Party and Bloodfang works the best for me. Most of the time you dont need the second one but if the first one happens to die the second one can finish the job.

I would like to mention an alternate I use against No-No. Open with cataclysm from any cockroach then switch to lesser voidcaller and use void barrier, then simply passing until barrier cools down. Alongside beaver dam you don't ever take a hit and the cataclysm only takes a small bite from your pet due to magic type.
Also, love your guides, very helpful. Thanks for all your hard work.
Oh yes, one alternate strategerism I used against Hyuna was the emerald proto whelp. That alone was able to take out all three of her party using all three of its emerald skills.

Very usefull thks !
I used
幼年其拉守护者
instead of the Idol (which I didn't have) in most of the battle it's doing the job.
With the thundering spirit, I had to change because my mechanical drag wasn't up. I do with
拉帕纳海螺
instead of the bunny and the
痛苦的雏龙
for the 2nd pet and it was fine.

For Nitun, I use a Ghostly Skull, Crawling Claw and a Stitched Pup. I start off with Ghostly Skull, attacking with Ghostly bite (first attack) and continue with Shadow Slash until he dies (and resurrects) and i use Unholy Ascension and bringing in Crawling Claw where i start off with Curse of Doom and keeps attacking with Shadow Slash until Curse of Doom has 2 rounds left and i bring in Stitched Pup and use Howl which should make Curse of Doom kill Nitun usually doing 1k-1.2k dmg. (If Nitun still got health left just use Flurry or something to finish him off). For me, this strat has worked for me every time.

The Lucky Yi howl bomb strat doesn't work very well. I usually roll with 3 foxes, one at 1,2,2, the others at 1,2,1 - with some luck, you only need the first fox. Dazzling dance, howl, bite & win.

Okay, a couple more things from me!
Thundering Spirit:
I've been experimenting a little with the team you've given, and actually discovered that I can get this done faster--and with about the same success rate--by switching my Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling to Bombing Run instead of Thunderbolt and just keeping it in to chip away at Darnak with Breath/Bombing Run. The trick to making sure it lives that long is to ensure your rabbit/hare has Dodge ready when Sludgy switches in, then Dodging Expunge and the DoT. Switch to the MPD and erect its Decoy on its first active turn, then proceed normally. So long as the MPD doesn't die to Sludgy (which should be very unusual), it'll have enough health to soak Burrow and will resurrect after Darnak's first Stone Rush ready to put up its Decoy again and finish him off. The couple of times Darnak's killed the dragonling before it's killed him, I've been able to bring the hare in and finish as normal.
This requires a 357 hare, though, since Sludgy is comparatively fast. You can use one of the S/B or H/S 322 breeds fine for the strategy as you've written it (which is in fact what I did until I got a 357 bunny up to 25).
Ti'un:
I've taken to leading with an Ashwing Moth on this guy for Nimbus, which makes all subsequent Moth Dusts a 90% hit chance and Alpha Strike unmissable. :U Sadly Nimbus shares a slot with Cocoon Strike so the Ashwing will get Pumped to death whenever Ti'un decides to use it, but fewer Moth Dust misses make me much less grumpy.
Switching carry pets in:
Someone on the official Pet Battles forum pointed out to me that if you bring in a carry on your free swap after another pet has died, you don't need to attack with it. You can just swap in and then swap out--I tested it and it does work, and I now use it on some of the tamers where there's not a really "safe" turn to swap without running Sandstorm (like Fire Spirit). I guess it counts even though the carry doesn't attack or take damage because you still lose a turn while swapping, and the pet you swap in takes the hit without answering it.

so many of these strategies just don't work. especially the wastewalker shu strat. Takes 10 minutes to lose the fight, 30+ minutes to actually win, don't bother trying to carry anything.

This is really great guide and I've been consulting it heavily (and using your Celestial Tournament guide to build up a team), thanks!
Only thing I want to suggest is that for the Flowing Pandaren Spirit, use an S/S Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling with Peck and Lift Off, instead of the dragon. For me at least, the RNG absolutely loves to make Slicing Winds hit only once, multiple times in a row.
Turn 1: Peck
Turn 2: Peck
Turn 3: Lift Off
Turn 4: If Lift Off hits, Marley should be dead. If it misses, you can forfeit and try again (the Gryphon will still be at full health), to avoid having any active whirlpools when Tiptoe comes out.
Then against Tiptoe, use Peck 4 times. Should be guaranteed unless you get hit by an unlucky crit (which would also kill a P/P or S/S Nether Faerie Dragon at that point, as they have the same HP as the gryphon).
I think needing to restart after 4 rounds 20% of the time is a better deal than relying on Slicing Winds. With the gryphon, bad RNG means you start over after 4 rounds, with full health. With the dragon, bad RNG means you start over after more than 4 rounds, with 0% health. Or finishing the fight with the crab, but that's an option in either case.

Thank you very much for this guide! Awesome and I love it.
I have a question -- For leveling pets, do you think any of the other pet battle dailies are worth the time to do?
The Cata masters all have lvl 25 pets (but only one of them gives you a bag with goodies), but it's quite a bit of flying about to get to them, so is it worth the time to go do them?

One other comment, that I'm going to put in a separate reply for organization:
Right now, I prefer the strategy listed here
http://www.wowhead.com/npc=66734#comments:id=1903282
against Farmer Nishi, just because I actually have a level 25 Anubisath Idol and Darkmoon Tonk. I notice the Aqua Strider isn't used in any of your other strategies for the Pandaren dailies or Celestial tournament, so it seems a little silly to try and hunt a rare and train it up, just to beat one trainer.
Wastewalker Shu is pretty annoying, too, since it appears you NEED a red cricket or magical crawdad to reliably beat him. I've yet to find or come up with any kind of decent 2-pet strategy for him that reuses other heavily used pets (or any pets that I actually have at level 25 right now).

I like this guide, I'm leveling up pets really fast. However, may I suggest a few very slight changes for the purposes of people having more choices for the order in which to do these.
Thundering Pandaren Spirit: First, due to Darnak's Stoneskin reducing damage from each hit of Flurry, use Scratch for the rabbit instead, you'll end up doing more damage. Second, start with the rabbit. Scratch, Dodge, Scratch, Burrow, Scratch... repeat (same as your order, just starting in a different place). When it's time to battle Darnak, switch to the leveling pet, then to the rabbit. Dodge, Scratch x2, Burrow, Scratch... repeat (again, same order, different starting place). The leveling pet takes no damage this way, and you can use a level 1 pet of any kind to level here.
Farmer Nishi: Aqua Strider may die on or before the turn it uses Pump against Mothallus. If that happens, bring in Clockwork Gnome as your next pet. Then on the turn it uses Burrow (which may be the same turn you brought in Clockwork Gnome), switch to the leveling pet, then switch back to Clockwork Gnome for the Burrow Damage, preventing the leveling pet from being poisoned.
Your leveling pet will take no damage, and you can use a level 1 pet of any kind to level here.
Edit: I completely forgot about the opening Sunlight that happens, which will take out a level 1 pet. However, a quick win from a wild pet in the area will give a level 1 pet a few levels, and you can still start a new pet here.
I don't know if you want to change up your roster, but you can also switch out Aqua Strider for a P/S Eternal Strider. Try it out if you want, unless there are misses, both of the first two pets are defeated by a Pump and a Water Jet. Most importantly, Toothbreaker won't be able to use Leech Seed, virtually eliminating the possibility of Eternal Strider dying before Mothallus.
So on Mothallus... Pump, switch to leveling pet, switch to Clockwork Gnome. No damage to the leveling pet.
Changing those up so that you can have a level 1 pet means there are only 3 trainers you can't start a new pet with: Wastewalker Shu, Flowing Pandaren Spirit, and Burning Pandaren Spirit. The first two are right next to each other, so there are really only two places you can't start with a new pet.
I could give you opinions about which pets to use and blah blah, but I think you've gotten enough of that. I will say that that I have gotten really annoyed with using Anubisath Idol, due to the 70% hit chance during Sandstorm. There might be a few places where you can use Stoneskin instead of Sandstorm (Seeker Zusshi for example). But that's all.

The key to The Seeker Zusshi strategy here is having a hare with a higher speed stat than Skimmer. I tried the strategy with a B/B class hare and scratched my head for 4 tries wondering what I was doing wrong when the turn by turn instructions weren't working. Then I noticed that Skimmer had a higher speed stat then my hare. Switching to a faster hare fixed the prob and the play-by-play was correct again.

Ms Mel, I am LOVING your guides.
A couple of notes: Ti'un is a notably temperamental fight. Alpha Strike doesn't seem to go against Shell Shield very well. A commenter on Ti'un's page suggested using flyers with heavier, single-strike hits against him. Someone else suggested a roach with Apocalypse.
I tried a lineup with a rare 20 HH Cockroach, the Gilean Raven, and a moth. I tossed out an Apocalypse first thing, Scratched till the roach died, then brought out the raven. Call Darkness on cooldown, Nocturnal Strike on cooldown, and Peck took Ti'un down before Apocalypse even had a chance to land.
On No-No... I accidentally started the fight with an Ashwing Moth that had Wild Winds instead of Alpha Strike. It surprised me that Wild Winds' persistent damage does not count as attacks for the purposes of No-No's Beaver Dam, allowing me to get extra damage onto him through those rounds. That moth soloed No-No.
Interested in how or if these work for others.

I'd also like to make a request. Could you note in which fights carry pets do and don't take damage (primary/backline)? Maybe what kind of damage they take (so you can avoid families susceptible to that damage)?
Some of them are safe for even a level 1, but for instance my lvl6 uncommon Macabre Marionette could not survive the Thundering Pandaren Spirit fight unless something missed.

Hey Mel, quick question (or anyone that knows for that matter)
In your guides, you have the question "Did a skill just come off cooldown?" I notice in your video guides you have an addon that shows the enemies abilities and the cooldowns of those abilities. I was wondering the name of the addon you use for that.
Thanks for the incredible guide! Just beat the celestial tournament with your other guide, no way I could of gone with out it.

Excellent guide! Thanks so much for it, I used couple of them, expecially on Thundering Spirit and Mo'ruk, to drag pets reliably. :)
Here is my take on Hyuna of the Shrines, hope it could help somebody:
Pets used:
Nether Faerie Dragon (Arcane Blast, Exchange Life, Moonfire); S/S is best
Gilnean Raven (Peck, Cal Darkness, Nocturnal Strike), or any other with those abilities
Dragged pet
Start with dragon:
Moonfire
Arcane Blast 2x (Skyshaper dies at this point, Hyuna brings out Fangor)
Arcane Blast
pass
Exchange Life
Arcane Blast
pass (Nether Faerie Dragon dies, bring out raven)
Call Darkness (Fangor should die, Hyuna brings out Dor the Wall)
Nocturnal Strike
switch to dragged pet (regardless if raven is stunned or not)
switch back to raven
maintain Darkness weather, use Nocturnal Strike on CD and Peck as a filler
This all assumes that the most hard hitting abilities do not crit or miss (Fangor's burrow and Dor's headbut), but other than that, I usually have great success with it.

Hey (again)
Being one of those guys who don't have Anubisath Idol and don't really wanna farm for it, I've had to make do with what I had.
For that I have three comments;
1) Hyuna of the Shrines; Nexus Whelpling (tail whip, arcane storm, mana burst), Darkmoon Zeppelin (missile, bombing run and decoy) and leveling pet. Nexus whelp pretty much removes first two before it dies and then Zeppelin comes in. Benefit of that is that, while it may take a while for zeppelin to get Dor the Wall down, Dor can only attack every 4/5 turns with headbutt and your Zeppelin can keep block up. So getting to Dor, you're safe to swap in your levelling pet when decoy's up and then swap back and missile him down.
2) For Aki I usually start out with a leveling pet with 150+ hp and do one attack and then just use 2 crabs (power/power emperor crab and spirebound crab) for the rest. It's never been a problem and crabcake works like a charm. Only flaw is that the critter stampede can crit and kill your lvl 1-2 pet.
Those two bosses are my main low level pet levelers. :-)
Basically when swapping in the first crab, shield up, heal up and claw it down. That way there's no debuff and shield up when dragon comes out and then it's healing when it uses roar to avoid the dragon racial.
3) For Farmer Nishi, any aqua skimmer pet with more speed than the first two is decent. Going pump -> cleansing rain -> water jet ('till sunflower's dead) and then continuing with your guide is sufficient too, seeing as the sunflower till be recharging and renewing heal before it will attack again. In that time you can even miss a water jet, using a more powerful pet than Aqua Strider, which don't really benefit from all the extra speed imo.
Even though I didn't need this guide, thanks for making it. Always handy with inspiration. :)

For Hyuna of the Shrines: an alternative approach is to use Nexus Whelpling and Crow. Start with Nexie, casting Arcane Storm followed by Mana Surge. This takes you to the snake's Burrow, which the whelpling can die from. The crow (use Call Darkness and Alpha Strike) makes short work of the remaining health on the snake. (I always cast Nocturnal Strike, but it's 50% or 40% depending, so it often misses.) Let Crow take the headbutt from the turtle, then swap in your carry pet (lvl 1) while it is putting on it's shell excessively. Use Call darkness to diminish healing.
I think this is the only one that makes me feel guilty watching Dor the Wall's pathetic death. Every time.
Thanks so much for your guides! I honestly (still) couldn't do the Celestial Tournament without your guidance.

Hi
First of all, thanks for this awesome guide, it has been really helpful in leveling battle pets.
I would like to add my own strategy involving the burning pandaren spirit. For this, just use Anubisath Idol with Crush, Stoneskin and deflection.
Burning Pandaren spirit starts with Crimson.
Turn 1: Crush
Turn 2: Stoneskin
Turn 3: Deflection (to avoid lift off Damage
Turn 4: Crush
Turn 5: Crush
Burning Pandaren spirit brings Pandaren Fire spirit
Due to RNG, Crimson can die in turn 5 or 6. For the purposes of this guide, I´m going to assume he died on turn 5; however, if Crimson dies on turn 6, start turn 7 with deflection, to avoid Conflagrate damage.
Turn 6: Crush (Since deflection is on cd)
Turn 7: Stoneskin
Turn 8: Crush
Turn 9: Crush
Turn 10: Deflection (Conflagrate just came out of cd)
Turn 11: Stoneskin
Repeat 6 to 11 till Pandaren fire spirit is dead.
Burning Pandaren spirit Brings Glowy
Glowy will first cast Confusing sting; use Stoneskin. Next, he will cast Glowing toxin; use Deflection to avoid this poison. From here on out he will swarm, just bring the pet or pets (I usually bring 2) you want to level for 1 round, get hit once and bring back Anubisath Idol. Stoneskin absorbs the damage from swarm and if you avoid the application of glowing toxin everytime, he shouldn´t take damage.
Note. Is recommended to bring pets with some levels (I usually bring pets at lvl 10) for this fight, since the damage from Cyclone will most likely kill a level 1 pet.
评论来自
1398941
Stoneskin is a great move, no doubt. However, the sandstorm blocks all damage from swarm, which imo, makes it a better choice. To each their own, of course though :)
Excellent guide! I use it everyday to do my dailies. Thanks!

DentargWonko
First off, this guide is fantastic. I can't stress enough how much it's helped me not only beat the dailies, but to learn some principles and strategies that have really helped me understand how to use my pets better and more efficiently.
I didn't have all of the recommended pets, so I had to make some substitutions. What followed was a lot of trial and error which took quite a bit of time. So, in hopes of saving others from this headache, I've put together this strategy of what I believe to be the easiest way to get up to speed on this guide when starting from scratch.
A couple of things first:
All pets are
Rare
and you carry them until they are
Level 25
(although I was able to get by on a couple of fights with level 22+ pets)
When I say that an "equivalent" pet may be used, it
must
have the exact same abilities
I tried to get to the Spirit Tamers as quickly as possible as they give better loot
I am not trying to create efficient flight paths
I'm sure there are other ways of doing this. I just found this to work for me. As always, YMMV
Getting Started -
Anubisath Idol
While you can get started with other pets, this is the pet you really want. The reason why is because he can carry TWO other pets during the
Courageous Yon
fight.
First Daily Battle -
Courageous Yon
(2 Carry Slots)
You start off with two open carry slots. During this fight, you'll want to carry both a
Clockwork Gnome
and an
Emperor Crab
(or equivalent). This will open two more daily quests for you and two more carry slots.
Add the Following Daily Battles -
Hyuna of the Shrines
and
Burning Pandaren Spirit
(4 Carry Slots)
You now have four carry slots. The next two pets to level are the
Emerald Proto-Whelp
and an
Amber Moth
(or equivalent). This will open up three more dailies for you (four, if you count
Aki the Chosen
, but you can't fight her until you've defeated all of the other Pandaren Tamers).
Add the Following Daily Battles -
Mo'Ruk
,
Flowing Pandaren Spirit
, and
Whispering Pandaren Spirit
(7 Carry Slots)
A couple of substitutions will need to take place for these fights. During the
Flowing Pandaren Spirit
fight, you'll want to use your moth in place of the
Nether Faerie Dragon
. In fact, I find that a moth tends to work better here anyway. For the
Whispering Pandaren Spirit
, the proto-whelp can pretty much solo the whole fight, but probably not if you're carrying two pets. So, only carry one and keep another pet in the team just in case.
You now have seven carry slots. The next two pets you want to carry are
Spring Rabbit
and
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
. In theory, you can use any Hare, but the speed must be 313+. The Spring Rabbit speed is 357 and I know it will work in all situations.
Add the Following Daily Battles -
Thundering Pandaren Spirit
,
Seeker Zusshi
(9 Carry Slots)
You now have nine carry slots. The next two pets to level are
Darkmoon Tonk
and
Red Cricket
(or equivalent - make sure the speed is 281+). This allows you to add one more daily battle.
Add the Following Daily Battle -
Wastewalker Shu
(10 Carry Slots)
You now have ten carry slots. Here, you'll need to carry
Aqua Strider
(or equivalent) and
Blighted Squirrel
.
Add the Following Daily Battles -
Farmer Nishi
and
Aki the Chosen
(12 Carry Slots)
You now have twelve carry slots. Here, make sure your
Blighted Squirrel
is at level 25 and then start carrying
Infested Bear Cub
to get it to level 25 as quickly as possible.
Beasts of Fable
The Beasts of Fable don't reward carry pets the way the daily battles do, so there's no point in trying to swap them out. Once your squirrel is level 25, you can move forward into fighting the Beasts of Fable. You can only fight each one once until they are all defeated. At that point, you'll pick up three dailies from
Sara Finkleswitch
.
Fight the Following Beasts of Fable -
Dos-Ryga
,
Greyhoof
,
Kafi
, and
Skitterer Xi'a
For your dailies, you'll want to carry
Infested Bear Cub
until it is level 25. For Dos-Ryga, you can use a moth very effectively if you don't have a crow.
Fight the following Beasts of Fable -
Ka'wi the Gorger
,
Lucky Yi
, and
Nitun
For your dailies, you'll want to carry two moths (equivalent to
Amber Moth
). It's nice to have a moth as a backup, but you might actually be able to defeat these three with just one. To do that, open with
Blighted Squirrel
and then use a moth to finish up.
Fight the Following Beasts of Fable -
No-No
and
Ti'un the Wanderer
For your dailies, you'll want to carry an
Alpine Foxling
.
Fight
Gorespine
.
Now, you can pick up the Beasts of Fable dailies and start levelling pets towards any other goal you have - such as the
Celestial Tournament
.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I missed anything! Thanks!

First off, thanks for the guide - for some fights (Thundering Pandaren Spirit, for instance), I'd never managed to find a reliable strategy.
For others I did, however, and even though I might be late to the party, I'd like to share them in the hopes that they help some people.
But also in the hope that two of my pet battle all stars get a bit more respect:
碧玉猫头鹰
and
拉帕纳海螺
!
----
First two Pandaren Spirits who I used for pet leveling:
1)
熊猫人流水之灵
:
Team: Jade Owl (121), Rapana Whelk (211), carry
Turn 1: Hawk Eye
Turn 2: Lift-off (this avoids the dive damage) -- it often crits, if not, the fight just becomes a bit longer
Turn 3: Slicing winds
Occasionally, the RNG is terrible and Marley is still alive at this point - just continue with slicing winds until this has been rectified.
Tiptoe comes in.
Use slicing winds until there's only one turn CD left on hawk eye
Use hawk eye
Use lift-off
Use slicing winds until Tiptoe is dead
Depending on how the fight before went, Owl might die. In that case bring in Rapana Whelk:
Keep up acidic goo and use absorb until Tiptoe's dead.
Water Spirit comes in:
Turn 1: switch in carry
Turn 2: apply acidic good
Turn 3: use dive (this avoids geyser and whirlpool damage)
Turn 4+: depending on how much health he has left, use acidic goo and absorb accordingly
Occasionally, the RNG is really against me and the snail dies before the spirit is dead - I've experienced this in about 5% of cases, so it's not fail-proof. :)
2)
熊猫人烈焰之灵
:
Team:
初生孢芽
(122), Whelk, carry
Turn 1: Leech seed (to be able to do damage while Crimson's in the air and benefit from the humanoid racial)
Turn 2: Crouch (to block lift-off damage)
Turn 3+: Jab until Crimson's dead
Pandaren fire spirit comes in.
Leech seed and crouch on CD unless a jab will kill it, jab otherwise.
If Sporeling dies before fire spirit does, bring in whelk. Acidic goo, dive, absorb until dead.
Glowy comes in.
If carry can survive the damage of both stings, swap in and have it soak the stings. If not, have Sporeling or whelk soak confusing sting (which comes first), carry soak glowing toxin, and kill with whelk: goo, dive, absorb.
---
And a beast of fable:
3)
云游者啼乌
Team:
迷你斩灵者
(122), Jade Owl (121), Moth as back-up
Have the Mindslayer use inner vision and eyeblast until it's below 40%, then use life exchange.
Should Mindslayer die (happened to me when Ti'un was at 10%), bring in Owl.
Hawk eye, lift-off and that should be it.

Until I found out about the Howl Bomb I had not been able to take down a single Beast of Fable. Now I just Bomb them and move on.
Thank you

As of Patch 6.1, Sandstorm is broken, so strats using Anub Idol and fights where the enemy pets use Sandstorm against you aren't working well, or at all.
There is no damage protection and/or damage reduction from using Sandstorm and your own backline pets are taking so much enemy damage that they have significant health lost before they come in and low level pets are dying.

Due to Sandstorm being broken, I had to figure out something else for Aki. Here's what I did:
邦卡斯
with
贯日突
,
躲闪
,
旋风击
鹰身人幼崽
with
切削之风
,
反击
,
离地升空
Start with Bonkers.
For Chirrup: Tornado Punch, Jab until it is dead.
For Stormlash:
1) Dodge - won't protect from Lightning Storm but blocks the dragon racial and gives an opportunity for one Tornado Punch
2) Tornado Punch - didn't crit nor stun in my case so Bonkers died.
Brought in Harpy:
1) Counterstrike
2) Slicing Winds - with the lightning storm, this finished it
For Whiskers:
1) Lift-off - dodges dive
2+) Slicing winds until Dive had only two turns remaing
3) Brought in mechanical carry lvl 1 - died and resurrected
4) Brought in Harpy
5) Lift-off - dodges dive
Whiskers casts
生存
once he drops low, so this might have been a better time to swap in the carry.

I've been trying to come up with strategies for easy to grab pets and with sandstorm broken it's kinda forced me to work faster lol.
For Aki I start with Zangar Crawler (any crab with Rip, Shell Shield and Blood in the water will do) and use Swamp Croaker as second pet (any frog with water jet & bubble will do, but like croak for the crit debuff).
Start with shell shield, then rip followed by blood in the water and rip until Chirrup dead (keeping shell shield up).
When Stormlash comes in keep shield up, keep ripping and use blood in the water when available. Depending on RNG crab will last this whole fight or die towards the end.
When frog comes in start with croak, or mudslide if you are using a different frog, keeping bubble until the dive happens. Hit away with water jet and use croak/mudslide on cooldown. As long as you save bubble for Whisker's dives you'll be fine. Plushie can be your third pet for achieve or if levelling start with that pet and swap in crab after first round.

Is it just me or have some of the other pet battles in Panderia changed a bit? RNG aside, I seem to be having a harder time getting my carries through alive.... Is it just me?

For the Flowing Pandaren Spirit, I've found that a single Nether Faerie Dragon is sufficient to take down the entire team without swapping. I have Rare H/P breed and I can plow through the entire team before loosing more than about 66% health.

Your strat does work, but honestly because of RNG it has taken me from 15-30 minutes to win this fight. A lot of wasted time with 2 buffs from treats. In the end, RNG is what it is. lol

Where has this been all my life!
Been kind of bumbling through the pandaria trainers trying to get victories. Finally got tired of that and went looking for a guide and here we are.....the perfect guide to knock all the trainers out effectively and efficiently.

In order to succeed with the howl bomb strat, the PWS needs to hit water jet before swapping, other wise Chrom will take too much damage and will not be able to use surge of power.
Great guide nonetheless.

For Flowing Pandaria spirit
i don't have Nether Fairy Dragon
so use my Imperial Eagle Chick,
Turn 1: Cyclone
Turn 2: Slicing Wind
Turn 3: Lift off
And as Mollus from seeker Zushi
i use Zandalari Anklerender
Turn 1: Black Claw
Turn 2: Hunting Party
much faster than use anubisath idol

The Howlbomb strat for Nitun will not work. Instead, try this strategy from JimmyR:
After getting my butt kicked a dozen times in a row I finally got this fight down to a science.
Pets Needed:
An alpine foxling (or any other pet with a combination of Howl and Dazzling Dance)
Virtually any spider (So long as they have Brittle Webbing and Spiderling Swarm)
Steps to Victory:
Start with your foxling, immediately use Dazzling Dance, Nitun will likely use Prowl
Allow him to hit you (Should knock out half your health) then cast Howl if you're CERTAIN YOUR FOX WILL DIE. It's okay if Nitun uses Ravage at this point.
Send out your Spider after your fox has died and use Brittle Webbing. Nitun will likely attack again.
Use Spiderling Swarm.
Nitun should attack again, and god willing the Brittle Webbing will kill him.

Better strat for Mo'Ruk using level 1 carry pet
1: Emerald Proto-Whelp (2,2,2)
2: Carry pet
3: Anubisath Idol (1,1,1)
vs Woodcarver
- Start with an Emerald Bite on round 1
- Then, repeat this exact sequence until Woodcarver dies: Emerald Presence > Emerald Dream > 2x Emerald bite . If you do it right, you will cast Emerald Presence each time Woodcarver has burrowed.
vs Lightstalker
- Emerald Presence > Emerald Bite until Lightstalker dies
vs Needleback
- Emerald Bite until your Emerald Proto-Whelp dies
- Switch to Carry pet and immediately switch to Anubisath Idol do not use any ability with level pet
- Sandstorm on CD otherwise crush. You could use Deflection when Headbutt is off CD but I found that Needleback may not always use Headbutt as soon as it's off CD so defeats the purpose of using it. I was able to down Needleback without using deflection at all.

The strategy given in this guide for Flowing Pandaren Spirit fails consistently fails for me. I was able to beat him with a carry by substituting
斧喙雏鸟
for the Faerie Dragon as follows:
Start with carry pet and pass first turn.
Swap in Axebeak
Lift-off to avoid Whirlpool
Peck away
I got the first pet down easy this way, and survived the Strider with about 64hp left. I was able to get a two rounds of Peck in before using Lift-off to skip the geyser/whirlpool bomb, then died the next round. I took out the Water Spirit using the Emperor Crab, using Surge and Whirlpool, healing before his Geyser or Whirlpool would hit again.

Works great if you use the correct bunny. H/S worked where the S/S did not.
Same for the carry pet, depending on RNG, a bit higher health helped.
Thanks for guide!

against

. Worked perfectly and no casualties. Got carry pet to 25 in one go. :)

I wanted to use your Howl Bomb strat for the Beasts of Fable but I noticed that for the Pandaren Water Spirit that whirlpool and geyser are on the same 3 selection move, the 2nd being healing wave and dive. Is that a mistake or a recent change?

You don't have red cricket (S/P) and is too lazy to farm for It? Fear not. You could try to use Marsh Fiddler (can be captured via pet battle) . It's S/B. So it has a little more life and a little less power but It has the same moves. You want a rare one and lvl It to 25. Otherside your stats won't be good enough. It works just as well.

EASIEST WASTE WALKER SHU STRAT
Doesn't need the Lengthy Quest Cricket, just need the 5k - 15k pet Syd the Squid:
By Kalyn007 (2,465 – 2·4·37) on 2015/11/16 (Patch 6.2.3)
My favorite strat (which I got from someone else). Works for any level 1
Syd the Squid
Carry pet
Chrominius
Start with Syd the Squid
Tidal Wave x 3 / Bubble / Tidal Wave x8
Swap to carry (after Syd dies)
Swap to Chrominius
Arcane Explosion x 3 / Howl / Arcane Explosion / Surge of Power
This strat makes it so you only deal with crusher by killing all the backline pets with AoE.

Thundering Pandaren Spirit Strategy is broken
Here is the fix:
Hare/Rabbit
Speed 301+
Flurry
Dodge
Burrow
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
Breath
Thunderbolt
Decoy
Carry Pet (Your pet wont get hit dont worry)
Lv.1
Lead with Hare/Rabbit.
Your Hare is immune to Stuns
Thundering Spirit always start with Stun (Crystal Prison)
Thundering Spirit always uses Rupture if Stun is in Cool Down.
Here is the rotation:
Thunder Spirit Leads
1. Flurry (Thunder Spirit Uses stun) (Your Hare is immune to Stuns)
2. Burry (Stun CD: 5) (Thunder Spirit uses Rupture) (Your Hare is Burried)
3. Hare emerges from Burry (Rupture CD: 4) (Stun CD: 4)
4. Flurry (Rupture CD: 3) (Stun CD: 3)
5. Flurry (Rupture CD: 2) (Stun CD: 2)
6. Flurry (Rupture CD: 1) (Stun CD: 1)
7. Flurry (Thunder Spirit Uses stun) (Your Hare is immune to Stuns)
8. Dodge (Thunder Spirit Uses Rupture)
9. Spam Flurry till Thunder Spirit is dead.
Sludgy after dead Thunder Spirit
1. Swap to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
2. Breath
3. Decoy
4. Breath
5. Continue spamming breath, if Mechanical Pandaren dies before Sludgy is dead, you'll have a hard time.
6. Sludgy dies
Darnak after dead Sludgy.
1. Spam Breath until Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling dies to Darnak ,
2. Swap to Carry Pet
3. Swap back to Hare.
I can't make an actual rotation because I'm not sure where Darnak will be using since Breath is super RNG when it comes to damage.
Here are Darnak's Scripted moves:
If Darnak does not have stone skin, Darnak will use Stoneskin.
If Stoneskin is up, Darnak will use Burrow.
If you know Darnak will use Stoneskin, Hare should use Flurry
If you know Darnak will use Burrow, Hare should use Flurry
When Darnak is about to emerge from Burrow, Hare should use Dodge.
If Stoneskin is up and Burrow is on CD, Darnak will use Stone Rush
If Hare is still on Dodge while Darnak's Burrow is on CD, Hare will use Flurry.
Use Burrow if Darnak is going to use Stone Rush and Hare does not have Dodge buff up.

The Anubisath / Crab battles involve a lot of RNG because of Sandstorm. If the Idol misses too much the fight is over. For example, using the Burning Pandaren Spirit strat has a win rate of 0/3 so far, and I'm not even close on any of those.

I found the listed strategy for Gorespine to be a little too dependent on RNG for my liking. Here is a strategy that worked for me. Get a Shrine Fly, a Clockwork Gnome, and a Brilliant Kaliri.
Select Scratch, Confusing Sting, and Glowing Toxin for the fly.
Select Metal Fist and Launch Rocket for the gnome - the middle ability won't be used and it doesn't matter what you set it to.
For the Kaliri select Peck and Predatory Strike - again, the middle ability won't be used and it doesn't matter what you set it to.
Shrine Fly
神龛苍蝇
Begin with Shrine Fly
1. Confusing Sting
2. Glowing Toxin
3+ Scratch until dead
Bring in Clockwork Gnome
发条侏儒
4. Launch Rocket - Charge
5. Launch Rocket - Damage
6-7 Repeat steps 4 and 5
8+ If still alive, Metal Fist until dead
Lastly, Brilliant Kaliri
艳羽卡利鸟
9. Predatory Strike - Gorespine should be dead by now
10+ If Gorespine survives, Peck him to death
