Warswords of the Valarjar
aka Bladestorm 2.0, unleashes an instant AoE attack which leaves behind a lingering DoT over a wide range. It's notable for dealing Fire damage as opposed to Physical, which means it isn't subject to the normal damage reduction of Armor, and it's true strength is shown in the large amount of damage buffs that can be stacked atop creating terrifying burst potential. Along with Enrage, proper use of Odyn's Fury is the cornerstone of the Fury Warrior in
is fairly straightforward, the increased attack speed hastens auto-attacks and the increased crit chance helps Bloodthirst more reliably proc Enrage. The ability has a 10% chance to proc from Rampage or Execute casts. Due to also providing critical strike, try to avoid using
at the same time.
works much like
, this is a passive ability which instead reduces the cooldown of other major abilities, making it important to use cooldowns rather than holding them unnecessarily. It also has a 10% chance to proc off of Rampage casts.
is built for raiding, wherein
phases last much longer than in forms of content. Although it is extremely unlikely to get anywhere near 99 stacks, a typical raid boss fight will net 15-30 stacks, which makes for impressive Execute damage.
acts as compensation for the loss of Titanic Power... or a free power increase for newer players!
boosts Odyn's Fury's direct damage by ~50%; very powerful for multi-target use.
Important Minor Traits
is very powerful, due to helping to align
with your other offensive cooldowns
grants free Executes, albeit at a low chance to do so.
works well due to the prevalence of auto-attack damage, especially combined with the attack speed bonus of
, this trait is actually much more powerful than it might seem at first glance.
adds extra damage, rage generation, and a chance to trigger Enrage.
Recommended Build Path
The first goal is to push
. While this path doesn't net an early notable trait, the path to get there is extremely efficient, gathering of the most powerful damage traits, without any "wasted" points in defensive or utility ones.
The target for raid content is
, which will be gained at 20 points, and should be obtainable by the time raids becomes available. Finish out by collecting
, which is minor, but efficient enough for only one point.
Unfortunately walled behind a defensive trait,
should be the last notable taken.
The remaining three traits can be taken at your leisure, offering no critical bonuses, but ultimately unlock the empowerment trait, Titanic Power.
Note: For those players not pursuing raid content,
can be skipped in favor of taking
is also very effective in open-world and dungeon content, and so can be taken earlier than recommended if so desired.
New in 7.2
Starting from 35 points, you should first prioritize Fury of the Valarjar, followed by a fourth point in Unrivaled Strength, and then rush the new traits to obtain Death and Glory.
Next flesh out the fourth point in all other DPS traits; Raging Berserker, Wrath and Fury, Unstoppable, Deathdealer, and Wild Slashes.
Finally, flesh out the remainder four point traits, Uncontrolled Rage, Battle Scars, and Bloodcraze, which will culminate in unlocking Concordance of the Legionfall.
Generally item level will be more important than which trait bonus the relic provides, but when possible:
Unlocking your third Relic
Unlocking your third relic slot requires you to complete the Warrior Class Hall campaign, which is a multi-step quest which takes place over the course of leveling up during
, beginning with
and ending with
. It requires the completion of dungeon quests, multiple scenarios, numerous Order Hall Missions, and 30 world quests at maximum level. Because of the time requirement for Missions and world quests, the time to complete the quest chain will typically range from one to five days after reaching maximum level.
