You know, I don't like to complain. I mean, I get it, "if you don't like it, don't do it", but this is one of those times where a complaint is justified.

I don't have a problem that it's a recolor, I don't have a problem that it doesn't fly. What I do have a problem with is it's a recolor of a mount that doesn't fly AND it costs the same as other mounts that DO fly.

I'll use it on one of my alts, but still, price seems a bit more for a non-flying recolor mount when we've had flying mounts that cost the same.

At least it's not faction/race locked, so that's a plus.

Gilnean legend states this red-and-white fox only crosses the Winter Veil during one season.

They did something subtle here. The only other "Glimmerfur" foxes/vulpin like this mount are found in Ardenweald. And this flavor text has wordplay with crossing the "veil" hinting a Glimmerfur fox (somehow) crossed over from the Shadowlands to Gilneas.

Maybe not coincidentally, on the 10.2.5 PTR this week they added new foxes to Gilneas, which use the SL fox model - apparently the first foxes to use the SL model outside of the Shadowlands. (If you read through the replies to that tweet, many were wondering why they did this, it looks out of place, etc.)

So at least one of these Glimmerfur foxes crossed over from Ardenweald to Gilneas. And it seems they might have stuck around and had babies, offering an explanation for why the new foxes in Gilneas look like they're from the Shadowlands - because they very well could be.
