Mystic Buffet - Increases magic damage taken by 15% per application. Applied to all players within line of sight every 5 seconds.
cast when she hits 30% health
there will still be people being Ice Tombed, have those people be far enough away to avoid chaining the tomb to another person, and have your dps and healers run behind a tomb every now and then to reset the stacks.
but the main problem will probly lie in the tank.. 2 options, taunt and spot healing the former tank, so letting him die before he reaches 5 stacks, maybe give him a soulstone if you can spare one. and have the 2nd tank tank him from then on,,
as with any achievement heavy dps will make this easier, but having dps that watches their debuffs will help more.

A buffet can either mean:
1) A blow, hit, strike or a
knockback
.
2)
A form of dining where the diners serve themselves.
This achievement quite obviously makes a reference to the term "All-You-Can-Eat Buffet" through this very dry and cringe-worthy pun.

This achievement is really a problem because a tank always has to be on Sindragosa. By the time the first ice tomb gets spawned in phase 3, everyone in the raid already has 3 stacks of the buffet, so how is the tank supposed to clear his stacks when everyone else (INCLUDING THE OFF-TANK) needs to clear theirs first?
I see only two ways to get this achievement:
1.) Have a pally tank that is bubbled. When the first ice tomb is spawned, turn off bubble, taunt the boss, and have the other tank clear his stacks before it reaches 4. Now the tanks can alternate everytime they have 4 stacks (3 to be safe), but the iceblock needs to be close to the tank position, and should probably stay an iceblock the entire fight.
2.) Have Sindragosa at 36-37% and go into air phase. When air phase is about to end, keep one of the iceblocks up, and push her into Phase 3. Have the off-tank sit behind that iceblock until the main tank gets 3-4 stacks, then alternate from there.
I think the first method is easier, but it sucks if you don't have a pally tank.

Pets do not count towards this achievement anymore so they can get as many debuffs as they want and it will not ruin your achievement.

We did this achievement on Friday night, post 3.3.3 nerfs. This really depends on how good your tanks up -- they make or break the fight. Your DPS just need to control their DPS on tombs (getting them lowish but not killing them before tanks clear) and then quickly swapping and killing them when called for. One thing to watch for, at least for our group, was that tanks would clear often by the time one tomb would've already come out and a second was just about to come. This would mean any melee killing the tomb that tanks were using to clear would need to finish the tomb and immeditely clear the area, as well as the person who was tombed, else anyone who was in that area would get tombed by the fresh tomb. We found it easiest to keep the head - tail - head - tail placement for tombs even though this was an issue, since dropping one in the middle or further out often meant our tank would stack to 6 before he could clear. Also can confirm Emcees post, I dismissed my wolf since we'd heard pets would bug it, however our warlock did not, and his Felguard stacked to over 22 on the kill where we got the achievement, so feel free to keep your pets out now.

this can be done as a zerg now. did it with 1 pally tank 1 druid healer and 8 dps and burnt him in p3 before the raid even had to deal with resetting any stacks. this can only be done on normal mode wouldnt even attempt this on hard mode. makes it quicker to get achievement.

We smashed our head into this achievement for 2 raids straight and were about to just quit WoW, being denied by RNG - being one inch too far to the left, being gripped right ontop of the 6th Buffet and just playing bad in between those, because frustration was about to ruin us.
When we finally had a good streak - the last block got popped, resulting in a 6th stack for the tank, when Sindragosa was on ~200k HP - too late to call off DPS.
Don't do it like this:
Don't rotate your tanks as they drop their stacks in the beginning, because, the current tank will always have 4 stacks when his block drops, then get a fifth on his way (even if you drop it right on his head) and if he fails to break LOS, gets gripped or whatever, it's a wipe. And you would have to do that 8-XX times in a row with realistic DPS.
Instead, do it like this:
Your OT breaks behind the first block (he has 2 stacks, drops them 2 seconds after the block drops) then
leave that block alive
and have your MT drop behind it as well, who will then call for the block to be destroyed and taunt the boss again.
That way (given your DPS is alright), the block still dies before the seconds drops
but
your OT will have 3 stacks (instead of the MT having 4) when moving towards the second block, resulting in a maximum of 4 stacks when he breaks LOS hence giving you one extra stack (6 seconds) of fault tolerance.
I actually screwed up in the end and had 5 stacks again, which I luckily dropped, when she was about to die. However, during the entire remainder of the encounter, we had 4 at most.
Took us two tries like that, after hours of wiping.
Edit: when thinking about it - we might have done it pre-nerf like that as well. Which would've been just like we did now, in the beginning, forcing the tanks to be 100% accurate. Guess the nerf wasn't really necessary after all.

My guild and I have arrived at Sindragosa and we still didn't kill her on HC neither did her achievement, but those are the two last things till we get our drakes, we would like to know if it is possible to do the achievement and be on Heroic Mode? If there's a "specific" tactic, a video or anything else, please comment.
Thanks in advance.

Just another confirmation that the zerg tactic works now with good dps & 20% buff. I know gearscore != skill and all, but average gearscore for raid dps was 6100, probably 6050 for dps (one of our healers was using her dps offspec with less gear). We did kill her with ~5 secs left to spare with our DPS.
Raid comp was:
Prot Paladin
Resto Druid
Feral Druid
Fury Warrior (2nd tank's offspec)
Arcane Mage
Warlock (not sure what spec)
Boomkin
Shadow Priest
Shadow Priest
Elemental Shaman (2nd healer's offspec)
We stopped dps at 38% since an air phase was coming.. we just wanted to be fully prepared for a burn during p2, so just mentally prepped ourselves during the air phase. As previous comments said, check your blistering cold timer too to make sure you don't have one coming. You can bloodlust just as p2 starts -- it lasts 40 seconds and you basically have 40 secs to kill her.
One thing we found out is with dps fast enough to zerg her, your p1 will last relatively shortly too -- so if you're accustomed to using 2 min CDs at the start and have it back up by p2, you might want to reconsider.. cause my CDs weren't back up our first attempt.
Anyway, we obviously were all flasked and someone passed out potions of wild magic to all our casters.. so bloodlust + CDs + potions = WIN.

To help the tanks with their stacks, we had them rotate Sindragosa.
Similar to the idea of having the tanks taunt from the tail, but instead they just rotated the dragon enough so that the next ice block was in the same time every time.
So taunt, rotate, next ice block goes down, repeat. And the blocks were placed on the circle around the middle of the room.
And we had a rogue follow up behind killing the iceblocks when a new one was created.

Just got this last night, and we didn't have the dps for the zerg tactic, so we used Fyrn's strategy slightly modified.
As she landed still in phase 1, near 40% and we knew we would push, we dropped two flare's to indicate the desired ice tomb positioning - one about 8 yards back from her at her hind legs, and one an equal distance back at her front legs.
As she lands, the MT picks her up, and you burn her into phase 2, and everyone edges to the right flare (the front, where the current tank is). The first ice tomb go the left flare to spawn their tomb, and everyone runs over to that one to drop their stacks including the offtank. The ranged can pop back out after dropping stacks to start DPSing again, and once the second person is marked, they go back to the right flare, the OT pops out as they're moving across and taunts (from the tail), and picks up Sindragosa. As the offtank calls for their taunt, the first tomb is popped, everyone is moving to the second tomb to drop stacks again, and the main tank pulls off behind this tomb as well, and they should be at four stacks.
Same deal as before, ranged can go back to DPS, once the next person is marked they go back to the second flare (where the first tomb was popped), the main tank pops out, calls a taunt and taunts from the tail, and the off tank can then duck behind the tomb until the next person is marked.
Its a slow phase with everyone being VERY careful about their stacks, but if everyone is composed and very careful about their stacks, it is moderately safe. We had some wipes due to a poorly timed tail smack, but once the dps got the rhythm of movement and breaking tombs when the tanks are calling taunts, it just takes a while but is moderately safe.
The thing to watch out for is the Blistering Cold, and having someone call it out can help. The tombs break line of sight for the blistering cold, so just staying behind results in no-one getting pulled in and you can continue on as if ignoring it, and one of the tanks just takes one extra stack (to 5), when there's a blistering cold.
Very painful achievement and if you can zerg it, it might be a little easier, but control and pacing is very important for this method!

With 30% buff this is fairily easy, 1 tank (paladin) 1 healer (disc priest), bloodlust and just burn her 35% -> 0% before 6 stacks (we downed her at 4 stacks). Hope this will help someone.

Here is something my guild used to make it a little easier on the tank switches:
Sometimes after blistering cold or a late taunt the tank would be extremely close to getting 6 stacks and there was a good chance he wasnt gonna make it behind the block in time. If your tank is at 5 when he is running to the block have him just stand right by the person getting tombed so he gets double tombed because when you get hit by a tomb it guarantees to clear your stacks. We then had all of the ranged bust out the tanks tomb as fast as possible while still standing behind the original tomb so they would clear their stacks for sure. The melee designated to kill the original tombs steadily (me in this case) kept working on the original tomb so they dont get out of rhythm.
I dont recommend doing this every time your tank has to clear but if he is close to 6 while running out the tank getting tombed is better than the tank getting 6 stacks and having to wipe it. (plus 3 ranged can take down an ice tomb with 100k health in about 2 seconds.)
On a side note...she seems to pulse out the next buffet when your debuff is between 3-2 seconds so as long as you are behind the tomb when your debuff has 3 seconds left on it you will clear fine.
On another side note....if your tank can get the frost resist set from naxx this will help out a lot on tank damage on both heroic and achievement. It is well worth the loss in stam and armor because frost breath is a large portion of the tank damage. (hits for 40kish unmitigated) Once our tanks got the frost resist set we were able to two heal the achievement which greatly decreases the time in which people have to mess up.

Guys.. regarding the zerg tactics..how would you deal with the frost tombs..will you just burn it quickly? wont you lose some precious time there.

My guild zerged this a month or two ago now. We're ten man strict, so all our raiders were in full 264 gear. WE were a bit worried about whether or not we'd meet the DPS requirement. (You have to average about 14k per person during lust). However we only needed 3 or 4 attempts to get it down using 1 tank 1 healer 2 melee 4 casters, and our DK OT and pally healer dpsing. We did actually hit 6 stacks for about 3 seconds before she died but we still got the achievement. For reference Our top three DPS pull about 10k on Saurfang/Fester/etc with the other three averaging around 8.5-9.
Comp:
Protadin ~ Resto Shammy
Combat Rogue ~ Retadin x2
Destro Lock ~ Balance Druid

Did this zerg-style last week. We never got to 5 marks.
Group comp was:
1 Pally Tank
1 Holy Pally
1 Ele Shaman
1 Enh Shaman
1 Blood DK dps
1 Boomkin
1 Fire mage
1 Arcane mage
1 Ret Pally
1 Mut Rogue
All of us have a mix of 264/277 gear.
Tonight we decided to do the same thing on Heroic and it worked :D. Same group comp except we had a Spreist instead of a Boomkin and the Enh Shaman went Resto. Was very close. I (Ele Shaman) died at 4%, Ankh'd and popped my Fire Ele. I was the only one up at the end. Considering 8 out of 10 of us had never done Heroic Sin before and, we 2 shotted it, we were all happy with the results.
Edit: Blistering Cold killed most of us at the end. Better timing next week and this will be cake.

Never had any problem getting this achievment.
Just placed the icetombs close to the head (so the tanks can get rid of stacks quickly) As soon as one tank resetted stacks we nuked the icetomb down. Next Icetomb the other tank resetts his stacks, and so on :)

We just did this zerg mode after having mainly tanks failing at it the normal way;
Setup was:
Prot warrior
Holy Paladin
Boomkin
S.Priest
DK
DK
Rogue
Feral
Enhance Shaman
Warlock
Killed it just as we hit 5 stacks. Works absolutely great if you have the dps for it.

Just finished zerging it with prot pally and resto shaman (myself), and 6 dps. The unchained magic hurt, but even ignoring it completely and continuing to pump out chain heals with 1300 haste as fast as possible, the backlash only hit for about 30k. Basically my strategy was to ask all the melee to clump together, and all the ranged to stack on me. I spammed chain heal to heal each clump, and healing surge on the tank, with healing wave on him instead whenever I could get away with it. In buffet phase, we just had the dps that got the beacon run away, and I continued spamming the everliving crap out of chain heal and surge. Immediately after she died and we got the achieve, my backlash went off with 5 stacks of buffet, I took 70k damage and died instantly, lol.

Used the zerg tact, 1 protection warrior with 2 pieces of Frost Resist, 1 Priest healing all rest DPS.
First 2 times we got to the last phase the healing priest would get the first ice block meaning forced wipe.
We basically waited just before the last 35% phase for her magic pull, then popped hero and nuked.
Warlock got the ice block and went and died quietly in the corner and killed her 5th stack.

For this boss we actually zerged her. One tank (6kgs), one druid heals (6.3kgs) and the rest DPS pulling 9-13k DPS. Phase 1 done normally, phase 2, pop hero, all cooldown, and zerg the crap outta her. Works for our guild every time.

<Chosen> of Draenor just got this, it was far easier using the zerg method.
Raid setup:
Prot Pally
Resto Shaman (me)
Arcane Mage
Ele Shaman X2
Arms Warrior
Fury Warrior (Who was pvp geared)
Shadow Priest
Boomkin
BM Hunter
We tried to use the tank swap method unsuccessfully
several
MANY times, but one-shotted the zerg method. It is far easier and healing isn't even an issue. I managed to hit a shock off each cd while still keeping the raid alive with healing surge and riptide. Only got to the cast point of 5 stacks.
I started the zerg just having obtained two stacks of Chained Magic, and ran to 29 stacks at the end. Don't worry about dropping them, just zerg it.

Attempts to 2-man this on a 90 blood DK and windwalker monk: it is not possible to use line of sight to clear the stacks when there are only two people. The first person gets put into an ice prison, the second can walk behind but the boss will just follow and hit them with mystic buffet anyway.
If both players get hit with the ice prison, the fight resets, as there is no way to get out of it.
Right now, it's looking like you would only be able to get this if you can burn the boss down from phase 3 fast enough, before mystic buffet can stack up to 5, but we're talking about taking her from 35% to dead in less than 25 seconds.
EDIT: Yes, I can confirm that it is entirely possible to two-man this achievement by killing her before 5 stacks are applied. After we got a few more gear upgrades (I'm at 464 ilevel in my dps spec now) we attempted this again, with the blood DK wearing dps gear but staying in tank spec for the self-heals.
After clearing the gauntlet before the boss, the DK ran back to the plague wing to mind-control one of the plague scientists, macroing it to give the monk the +100% damage buff. The DK popped army of the dead as Sindragosa was landing around 40%. As soon as Sindragosa landed, the monk popped Tigereye Brew, Energizing Brew, and trinkets, then summoned Xuen. The monk got hit with the ice prison when Sindragosa was around 5%, but the tank + Xuen was able to get her down the rest of the way before she even applied the fourth stack of Mystic Buffet.
