I am wondering about Cogwheels in general. At this point, we know Cogwheels only fit to cogwheel sockets. Does this mean that unless Bliz provides us with an updated version of engineering helm later on in Cata after current ones (meant to be "starter epic items"), these are going to be just 1-time goodie?

It should be noted these are "unique equipped"...so you cant put 2 of the same kind into your helm. I didn't read it fully and wasted money getting 2 Fractured Cogwheels instead of 2 different kinds.
