To get this achievement you have to recover and deliver all four missing statue parts to the
remnants of the Chamberlain statue
at 34.6, 64.8 within 10 minutes of accepting
破碎的侍从官
. Parts can be found in the subregions of the Isle of Thunder below:
Za'Tual
Court of Bones
Ihgaluk Crag
The Beast pens / Conqueror's Terrace
Patch 5.2 Hotfix: March 21
Crumbled Chamberlain: Statue pieces now do not despawn when looted, allowing other players to loot the statue piece as well.
First of all, the biggest issue is encountering the masses who zerg the whole isle all day long. You pick up the quest, trying to find a part and someone took it before you could. Good to know the parts are continuously respawning randomly on one of the possible locations in each subregions so you're free to move around and search for another one.
There is at least one possible spawn point for the
quest-giver object
in each area that means you can start the quest wherever you want.
Each area has a fixed part of Chamberlain (
Torso
,
Hair
,
Staff
,
Shoulder
) so you cannot skip a subregion. Every subregion has plenty of spawn points for their own parts. (the number of spawn points are still growing on the PTR). The spawn point of the object (within an area) will be randomly selected each day.
For a head start, it is worthy to note that you should deliver the quest (within the 10min window) to the mutilated statue of Chamberlain in the
Court of Bones
area so if you're running out of time over and over again you can save some time by planning a good route which ends up at the Court. Progression could be tricky, success depends on a bunch of things and may take several attempts due to high variety of possible spawn points / combinations.
Tips:
- Use the
/timer
command; start it as soon as you pick up the quest.
- Saurok
giga-jumps
help a lot in the Ihgaluk Crag area just spam it until the statue part blinks up on your
minimap
.
- Court of Bones and Conqueror's Terrace are flooded with crabby enemies, just try to
avoid unseat
from mount.
- Stay in the Mogu runes at the Court you get a
nice buff
that speeds up the killing job. Otherwise do not mess with enemies you really don't have to. Dodge them, skip them, leash them and move on.
- Engineering comes really handy.
- If you missed few seconds and/or delivered the quest too late/by mistake, don't go suicide:
破碎的侍从官
is a
weekly
quest.
Here's my video about how to get the achievement, you may also find some more tips and infos about locations, etc:

Big thing to keep in mind if you're abandoning quests and re-trying... You need to wait until the 10 minutes from the first timer is up to restart. Didn't realize that and beat it within 8 minutes thinking I was a badass... and I didn't get credit. fml

The turn in is located west of the tower at the court of bones. If your at the tower or near it, jump off the western side of the tower and land on the beach/water. The basement entrance is at 33.61, 63.24. If you are running out of time, take a gamble and find the current live spawned spots without looting the pieces before abandoning the quest. When you find a spot, figure out where is a good convenient place you can stand where you can see the gear quickly spawn when your close enough.
When you abandon the quest to repick it back up, it will still be there if your lucky and no one else had found it yet.

Ya GL with this one if you are a high pop server. I'm on a low one and they are still camping spots for the items at 5 am.

EDIT: As of 20.03.2013 Blizzard has 'fixed' the quest - the items now seem to stay even after someone looted them, making the achievement much easier.
Steps to complete this achievement:
- Move to a server without any population
- Wait till 5:00 AM
- Start the quest

This achievement....ugh... it must be painful on a PVP server. With Horde going around and even your own faction members going around looking for the quest items and then the lovely respawning mobs everywhere can make this a real pain in the ass for 10 minutes. Seems nearly impossible. I know there was a video but I think whoever designed this didn't keep in mind of high respawns, other players and PVP servers. Seems really too much for such an achievement.

Just finished it (2:45 am) with 2 mins. to spare. Of course I was a bit lucky, I tried 5 times before, but big part of game is based on rng, so it was not really big issue. Dont think is too hard as stage 3 is unlocked just for a day. And tbh, this is called achievement for reason. If you can't do it now, due to being on high populated server, just wait few days and there should be much less people camping it. Now most probably try to gather additional stone and finish it before reset (for Europe).
Btw I started in the middle, moved then forward to Court of Bones, then Ihgaluk Crag, Za'Tual and Conqueror's Terrace, area where you complete it. Tip for druids, if quest item is hard to reach, but next to it is some mob, you can use feral charge to get there without wasting time with trying to get there on foot/mounted. Good luck!

A way to make this quest easier is to do it with a friend. Starting off, have your friend be on the quest, and you not be. They should not pick up any pieces or have any pieces picked up so they can see all the cogs on the minimap.
Start at the northern troll area, have your friend find the first piece there. Stand next to them and have them share the quest with you. Accept and it will start the achievement timer. Pick up the first piece then head to the crag. Split up and look for the next piece. Once you find it, meet up with your friend and head to the troll area to the west, split up again. Then head to the court of bones and find the final piece. Head to the cave below the court of bones and hopefully you've got enough time.
All the while when you are looking for pieces, your friend should aggro and kill any mobs you have following you while you pick up pieces so you can mount up as fast as possible after you pick it up.
You can abandon and pick up this quest as many times as you need.
An important note, as of this posting if you abandon the quest the achievement timer will NOT reset upon picking it up again if you had ANY time left. You MUST wait for the achievement timer to run out for it to reset. Whether this is just a visual bug or the timer just won't reset is not known. But if I were you, id just wait for the timer to run out before trying again.

I think this achievement should increase the time required to complete the achievement whether you are on a high or low populated server.
Last night at Silvermoon EU my best score was 46 mins and a 30 mins headache after that.

Easiest way to do this, and I have tested this on live after Stage 3 opened, is to accept the quest, find the other pieces, abandon the quest and complete it knowing the spawn locations. People mentioned that the spawn points changed, but this didn't occur for me. No when looted, and not when the quest was abandoned. Simply scout the spawns, drop the quest, and then pick it back up again.

Few tips:
Start with hair, then go for shoulder. Get staff and then go for torso, as it is closest to the hand in spot! Done this on a very high pop server at 6 PM server time.

Despite everything said about the spawn points being generated randomly when the quest is accepted, I just got this extremely easily. The spawn points for each item were the same when I just did it on my paladin as when I did the quest earlier in the day on my shaman. So either I'm extremely lucky (which I'm not) or the spawn points a static to some degree for a certain amount of time. Perhaps they stay the same for the day or the week?
Edit: Through further testing (in the form of doing the quest the following day on my priest), it seems that the spawn points change on a daily basis, as opposed to randomly. So getting the achievement is pretty much a matter of taking the quest, figuring out where the items are and how to get to them, dropping it, reaccepting it, and then riding around grabbing the items. Still kind of tough though if you get some bad luck.

Just completed it in 9mins 30seconds on my rogue alt as stealth around the island will give you so much more time to look for them rather then fighting mobs you pull.
You can also vanish, sap, blind and sprint as a rogue so highly recommend if you have a rogue alt to get it to the island for this achie. Engineering also works brilliantly for the rocket boots and goblin glider.
Worth also noting that if you take an alt to the island to do the starter quest
Skin of the Saurok
so you can move around that part and jump up to the cliffs.
Good luck!

/way 44.47, 86.10 <-shoulder, on a rock near the waters edge(Ihgaluk Crag)

For this achievement to be a success for me I only had to try it twice.
The first time I was running around the island looking for the 4 items trying to ignore monsters and eventually die and screwing up the timer. Although I succeeded in finding 3 of the 4 parts so it was a good first attempt.
The 2nd time I found the starting item on the same place as the first time. Assuming this would be the same for the other items I ran to those locations and yes, they were on the same spot as the first time. So knowing where each item was saved me 3 minutes of searching for them. Being 5 minutes far I only needed the last item witch took me about 2 mins to find. Turning it in and getting credit concluded the 8 minutes of stress.
So what I think (not sure since I only done it once) is that you can try to take the quest, look up the items abandon, wait for your timer to run out (smart to use a clock on your phone or something) and redo it knowing where each item is.
This is based on a sole run and it was early in the morning so not many people online. This might be the main reason the items were on the same place as last time although I looted the first 3.
I hope this can help some people get the achievement done :)

Step 1 - Find the head to start the quest
Step 2 - Find all of the pieces, but don't loot them and mark them on your map
Step 3 - Abandon quest and re-obtain it.
Step 4 - Go get the items
Done that, you can get the timer beat with 4 minutes left. Track the achievement so you know the time.

Priests or engineers can levitate/glide after jumping from the northmost Ihgaluk mountain (where Prot spawns) to land right at the gates to the northern area, saving a lot of ground travel time.

I can confirm that the spawn points are always the same when you drop the quest and retake it.
The most simple way to do this achievement is to pick up the quest, find all parts's spots, then abandon it and retake it.
Knowing already where to look will make 10 minutes seem like an eternity.
To save as much time as possible:
-) Start from Diremoor
-) Then go to inghaluk, and use the jumps of your saurok form. Careful to not waste time by getting stuck between the rocks.
-) Next is Za'tual. Same advice as Inghaluk here goes, careful to not get stuck (and waste time) between the rocks if the piece is there.
-) Last, Court of bones. This place is left for last because the quest reciever is in the cave below the Court, so you'll waste even less time.
Hope this helps, it's pretty easy once you figure out all the spots and a good route.

I had two bits of confusion with this quest, so I thought I'd share, since not all the tips on here note this:
1. The pieces show up as gold gears on your minimap, so run around mounted and keep an eye on your minimap.
2. When you get all your pieces, the cave in the Court of Bones is underneath the area where Mumta spawns. You want to jump off the edge of the building towards the water, the entrance to the cave is on the sand itself, in a hole in the wall there. Don't bother going into the building itself and hunting around.
Other than that, follow the great advice others here have posted, and you'll get it easily. I got it by grabbing the quest, finding the four pieces, writing the locations down, dropping the quest, and then picking it up again. Did it with 2m to spare, only because I wasted a couple minutes trying to find the cave. :)

Easy mates!
Just take a quest and without a rush locate all parts. Just don't pick up them. Abandon the quest. In same place take it again - RUN. :) Takes ~ 4-5 minutes.

Just did this a few minutes ago.
The best way to do this is to install the TomTom add-on ahead of time then accept the quest and go find all the objects. Every time you find one type in /way (x-coord) (y-coord) where the object is. After you have found and plotted all of them, abandon quest, then wait 10 minutes and accept it again. Now just follow your arrows and collect all objects then hand in quest.
When i did it like this, i still had 3 minutes left over when i turned in the quest.
Good Luck

I tried this several times before I finally worked out an easy way to get the achievement done with time to spare.
Have the map available to alt-tab to to see the point of where each piece spawns. (
Use this map
) Make sure you track the achievement so you know how much time you have. (Click track achievement and a timer will appear) When your riding around looting, make a mental note of where each piece is.
----Pick up the quest ONLY from the northern area where the hair spawns. (The red dots)----
-To find the hair run around each point or near each point in a circle making the least amount of travel time between each and if you see the gear icon, pick it up.
-From there head down to the Crag, which is the longest. Riding. Time. Ever. when your on a timed quest. Once there, unmount where you turn into one of them so you can move around faster. Again make your rounds until you find the gear icon. I'd suggest to start at the 57,81 point and make a circle from there.
-Head west and do your best to find the Staff... (I found this looting the staff was the most difficult to get to)
-Next, enter the court of bones from the south, it will save a few seconds. (Every time that I've come across the Torso, its been one of the 2 southern spawn points) Make a loop around until you find the torso, loot it and your done right? Wrong....
-Head to the tower where Mumta spawns and run to its western most side and jump down to the beach looking area (next to the water) There is a cave where you turn it in, but DONT unless you will get the achievement.
You now know where eat piece is, so abandon the quest, repick it back up and do it again! Each piece wont spawn to another point for a little while so get on it quick. (If I'm wrong please correct me, but again each time I've done it the spawn point has been the same)
I hope this helps and good luck getting this achievement!

Keep in mind also that you need to get to the cave in order to turn in it!
Also, good to keep in mind is that you can abandon the quest, wait out the timer and then redo it.

the abundance of mobs youl meet on your route love to daze and knock you of your mount making this achievement more tricky so here is a tip if you got travelers tundra mammoth or the travelers yak use it that way you have chance of the mobs choosing one of the vendors on your mount instead of you and thus dazing him this makes those pesky dazes a little less annoying also the spawn points seems to change at some intervals so if your not in a big hurry you can always wait for a more opportune spawn location

I did this. Found the pieces, abandoned, then restarted. I finished well within the time, using the countdown on my poisons (I'm a Rogue) to time it, since the timer for tracking it was still counting down from my last attempt. When I had turned it it, I was at 53 minutes for my poisons that I applied BEFORE turning in the quest, so I was well within. I did NOT get the achievement. Could be because I started quest while timer for my old run was still going?

Completed in 5:50 using a combination of mount, engineering and hunter spells. This was my second attempt so I knew where the pieces where. I would highly suggest doing a trial run first and remembering the locations as they are unlikely to change within half an hour. Feign Death/ Vanish would be highly useful especially in the Court of Bones where pulling several mobs is inevitable. Skirting around mobs is also a very good idea to avoid getting hit as much as possible. Dazing can really ruin your day.
My route was Ihgaluk, Fortress Grounds, Court of Bones, Za'Tul. Starting at Ihgaluk is a good idea because you can use the spring jump off high areas to cover a lot of ground to the next area.

Ok, If this is important to you and not everyone is a achievement chaser.....
I did it today, my third or fourth week where it was possible. (The quest is a weekly.)
Today's attempt was successful because
I knew where one spawn of the head was. This was Za' tual.
I also spent the time finding where every other piece was.
Every piece was fairly easy to get to.
A) I did a number of trial runs and while tracking, I waited until the timer reset for the final run.
B) In Za' Tual, I cleared as much as I could BEFORE I accepted the quest. I knew where the frag was and how to get it. It often requires jumping onto tents.
B) The part in the crag (? Shoulder) was actually easy to get to once I knew where it was, and that peak seemed easier than others to me
C) The part in the the beast pens / conquerors terrace was also very easy to get. It was on the wall leading to the conquerors terrace.
d) I spent some time finding where the part in the Court of Bones was.
It was by the the coast, near where Kaida the Bloodletter spawns
By running around the Court of Bones, I could avoid running through the Court of Bones.
I knew where the fragments were in each area.
I cleared out where the frag was before I accepted the quest in Za' Tual.
I had also practiced the hopping on the tents during the previous weeks. and jumping on crags / mountains in the Crag.
So clear everything.
Accept quest in Za' tual
Grap fragment in Za' Tual.
Know where the frags are.
Get to the Crag , and get on top of the peak as fast as possible.
(Again the combo I did, I knew exactly how to get up there and didn't wast too much time getting the frag.)
Run along the path, and grab the hair from the wall leading to the conquerors terrace.
Switch mount to a water riding mount (think of the azure water strider, though some classes have other mounts)
Continue running around the circle, and skirt the court of bones, and the horde base. You will aggro some stuff, just keep running.
Run to where the Court of Bones frag is. This was near the water. I had checked this earlier.
Grab the frag, and run to turn in.
I did this in about 8 mins
----EDIT--------------------
As i did this multiple times to find each piece, I did notice the tracking timer did NOT reset each time I started the quest.
I believe you must wait for the timer to run down, before you accept the quest for the run at the achieve. Otherwise you will have less than 10 minutes.
Use the tracking function on the achieves, and do not start if the timer is still running. Use this time to clear out places where the frags are.

This quest can be shared. The important part? You can share it after your party is already at the first piece, thus saving the other(s) travel time from the first travel leg. My husband got his achievement this way tonight, and next week we'll go the opposite so my toon can get it.

I also had the spawn locations stay the same after abandoning it and retrying, even after looting the items.
Tomtom waypoints make this much easier. I think the easiest place to start is in the palace area. Make a new TomTom waypoints profile and add these to find the head to start (get the addon Paste to avoid making macros):
/way 62.0, 51.6 Head
/way 57.5, 46.2 Head
/way 54.3, 48.9 Head
/way 52.5, 50.4 Head
/way 49.8, 32.7 Head
/way 53.5, 45.2 Head
/way 53.5, 45.6 Head
Then, make a second new profile add these:
/way 57.5, 81.6 Shoulder
/way 53.4, 83.5 Shoulder
/way 50.9, 85.5 Shoulder
/way 47.9, 83.0 Shoulder
/way 44.5, 86.1 Shoulder
/way 45.5, 79.2 Shoulder
/way 47.5, 75.2 Shoulder
/way 56.6, 72.9 Shoulder
/way 33.6, 67.0 Staff
/way 41.4, 67.7 Staff
/way 39.1, 73.5 Staff
/way 37.8, 79.1 Staff
/way 36.9, 75.6 Staff
/way 35.9, 75.1 Staff
/way 31.5, 75.3 Staff
/way 34.0, 72.2 Staff
/way 59.5, 56.7 Hair
/way 54.2, 48.6 Hair
/way 56.5, 45.8 Hair
/way 53.0, 45.6 Hair
/way 53.3, 43.1 Hair
/way 50.1, 40.8 Hair
/way 51.1, 31.2 Hair
/way 52.5, 37.1 Hair
/way 33.6 59.9 Torso
/way 34 49.8 Torso
/way 34.9 61.7 Torso
/way 36.3 48.9 Torso
/way 36.8 59.9 Torso
/way 37.8 53.8 Torso
You then just close enough to each waypoint to see if the gears are there. I finished with 2+ minutes left with lots of mistakes.

This quest is 1 of THE worst 1's i've ever done in WoW. I have a very hard time jumping & aggro-ing mobs & I finished within the time & didn't get the achievement. Guess i'll wait for next week. It really IS a good idea to accept the quest, find where all the parts are, then abandon, wait out timer & re-accept. The hardest part for me is at The Court of Bones. This should be 15mins instead of 10 for all the ppl like me who are new to WoW & can't do these quests as fast.

This is what I did:
1) Type /timer 600 -- that will put up a 10 minute timer in the game.
2) Accept the quest in Ihgaluk Crag (where the sauroks are) and start the timer.
3) Spend those first 10 minutes finding the 4 quest items and figuring out how to get to them (but do not pick them up or finish the quest.)
4) Once you know where they all are, allow the 10 minute timer to run out and abandon the quest. (As someone has said, if you re-accept the quest before your first 10 minute timer has run out, you will not get the achievement.)
5) Type /timer 600 again, and accept the quest in Ihgaluk Crag again. Start the timer.
6) Go pick up all the quest items and get to the cave to turn in the quest if you are still within your 10 minute timer. If not, abandon it and keep trying =) If for some reason it failed you can always try again next week.
As a mage, I completed this with 3 minutes to spare thanks to Greater Invisibility to drop aggro. I think the quest starter is in any of the 4 areas (not 100% sure on that), but I started in the saurok area because the Shoulder quest item is sometimes the hardest to get to. Try to end your route in either the Mogu or Zandalari areas, as they are closest to the cave.
(Edited for typo)

I tried using the excellent method described by a few others, that being the taking up the quest and then identifying where the items were; dropping the quest and then retaking it up again for a timed run after allowing the 10 minute timer to expire.
However, as of patch 5.3 either this system doesn't work anymore, or the achievement appears to be broken.
I tried completing this on my Monk alt as described, but with 1 minute spare on the timer all I got was the Shan'ze stone - no achievement. For speed I used my Alliance character and started the quest in the north east area. Then, to shave off travel time I used the Beacon to portal me next to the Ihgaluk area. Quick run through the Za'Tual and finished off with the Court of Bones and then short run into the sea and to the cave for hand in.
I thought maybe the dropping and retaking had somehow messed up the achievement so I redid the quest on my Hunter. Already knowing where the items were I didn't have to retake the quest. This time around I had 2 minutes spare and still no achievement. I also used the Beacon to save time. Maybe the Beacon caused the achievement to fail?
I tried a 3rd time on my Warrior. This time no Beacon, just normal mount run. Made it again with just over 1 minute to spare, again no achievement.
The last 2 attempts were done with no retakes of the quest and the last with no porting, so the only conclusion I can think of is that the achievement is broken, or maybe there's some account-wide timer going off behind the scenes to prevent this method of completing it.

I would like to add that not only is the achievement broken, but when I did decide to try it, three times in a row the Crag piece would not show on my map, I finally found it because it was shiny and I knew a few places that it spawns at (mostly on the sides of really steep hills/mountains), I talked to someone else and they had a similar problem with the Court of Bones not showing. I got it with a couple mins spared on each try, then came here wondering why I wasn't getting credit. Hopefully the game itself knows that we've done it and they hotfix it, but who knows.

A lot are claiming this Achievement is broken as of 5.3, but I can confirm that it still works.
I cheated in a very complicated way, and put together 2 groups of 2. The groups consisted of one Lock each, and any other class. I had the groups go to a location of the objects, and summon a lock stone at two separate locations. One at the Shoulder of the Chamberlain location, and the other at the Staff of the Chamberlain location. In order for this to work, this required 6 people.
*NOTE: This cannot be done while in a raid group.*
Requirements:
The person wanting the achievement.
Two Warlocks in separate groups.
Two summoning assistants, one in each group.
A player floating between groups to keep the lock stones active.
Preparation:
Start off with the Achiever at the Head of the Chamberlain (Preferably close to the location of Hair of the Chamberlain), but do not pick up the quest until Groups A + B are ready.
If another player in the group is already on the quest, have the Achiever start at the Hair of the Chamberlain and share when ready.
With Group A at the Shoulder Location, the floater will join Group A and help open the Lock Stone. After the stone is set up, the floater will then go to the Staff of the Chamberlain location where Group B will be waiting and help set up the stone there. In order to keep the stones up, wait till Ritual of Summoning is off cooldown and have the floater bounce between groups as you summon him/her to refresh the Stones.
Execution:
Once your Achiever is in the proper location and in Group A
, have them pick up the quest from
Head of the Chamberlain
and make their way to
Hair of the Chamberlain
as fast as possible.
Once the Achiever has picked up the Hair of the Chamberlain, have
Group A
summon the Achiever to the
Shoulder of the Chamberlain
location.
Once the Achiever has acquired the Shoulder of the Chamberlain, they must drop group so
Group B
can invite and summon to the
Staff of the Chamberlain
location.
After the Achiever has picked up the Staff of the Chamberlain,
they will have to make their way as fast as possible to the Torso of the Chamberlain location.
After the Achiever has gotten the final piece, they can proceed to make their way to
Base of the Chamberlain
to turn in the quest.
PROFIT!
Even though it was the first attempt, and a few rocket leaks have almost caused many failures, we completed the achievement with 4 Minutes to spare. It is a very complicated way to get this achievement, but it worked! I thought I would share this with you all.

I just completed this quest in under 6 min and didn't get an achievement. Put in a ticket, the GM awarded me an achievement - apparently, it is bugged atm.
NB: If you have more than one alt capable of doing this quest, you will find where pieces are on one toon, then complete fast run on another. Should not need any tricks or speed increase - just make sure in mob heavy areas you use cd's and other tricks like los to survive if needed.

As patch 5.3 this quest is clearly BUGGED i completed it with 3 different toons all under 8 minutes and didnt get achievement.

Just did this in 7mins 12seconds, started my timer 2 seconds before accepting the quest so I'd know how close I might of been cutting it and still didn't get the achievement :(
Is this thing bugged out or something?

It's been mentioned here before but it appears that the only way to get this achievement right now is to petition a GM to unlock it for you.
Complete the quest within the time limit (track achievement to see timer) and once you are positive you have done it correctly open a ticket and briefly describe what you need. GMs can check your log and see if you've actually met the criteria for achievements, and there is an entire department of GMs devoted to this exact type of thing so please don't be discouraged from attempting this achievement.

Does entering the safe zone/ using the beacon reset the timer? on my Achi tracker, on either case, the timer disappears. Bug? EDIT: somehow also lost it from leaving combat. Any ideas on that?

Alright, after messing with this achievement a bit, here's my theory and advice:
Before accepting the quest, toggle achievement tracking for
碎石成堆
, if the timer does NOT begin counting down from 10 minutes under the achievement's name you won't be getting credit upon turn-in.
If the quest begins to countdown, start working through your quest. I've come to find that, after a few events, I lose my timer. This always happened around either turning in to/back from a Saurok in Ihgaluk Crag via
蜥蜴人之皮
, using
保护祝福
, taking falling damage, entering/exiting a sub-zone (Most often Za'tual) or entering one of the quest-giver bubbles that removes you from combat. I can't say for sure which of these was doing it, but every time I noticed my timer disappearing was around one of those.
I'd suggest waiting 10 minutes between attempts, just to insure your timer gets reset properly. This was quite the annoying achievement for me to get. It seems very touchy about how you do things, and involves quite a bit of luck. I spent the entire time staring directly at the timer waiting for it to disappear. If you do happen to complete the quest in the allotted time, and you don't receive the achievement, you can open a ticket and hope you get a nice GM. It worked for me, just be absolutely sure you did it in under 10 minutes.

As of 5.3 it is bugged, but as long as the timer is still counting down when you turn it in, you will get the achievement. I'm not sure what triggers it to fail, but I do know I most certainly didn't wait the 10 minutes to pick it up again, I just abandoned, tried again, timer lasted the whole time and I got my achievement.

After completing this, I just want to say: ^&*! game designers that want to be smart but don't want to make an effort.
This is not how you create something challenging. You don't create a challenge by placing stuffs on poorly designed terrains and surround them with a &*!@ ton of mobs; you don't create a challenge by relying on poorly implemented mechanic (time-lagged saurok giga-jump is super fun, when your jump keeps missing the spot); and you certainly don't create a challenge by placing the final ^&*!ing turning point in a sub level, with a hard as !@#$ to find entrance. I wonder what kind of !@#$ing sadist thought that placing the quest turn in at a hard to find spot, and watching player sweat while the timer ticks out, is supposedly to be a good idea. Actually, maybe for a sick sadist bastard, this is a %^&*ing good idea.
This is the kind of pretentious bull^&*! that game designers pull when they think they are too smart for their players, and when they don't want to make the slightest of efforts. This is the kind of craps that lazy and arrogant game designers think would be "fun" for the players.
Well to whoever designed this $%^&, maybe someday I can present to you my sincerest thanks; because if you keep this &*!@ up, I can finally just uninstall this game and don't have to check back every so often like the $%^&ing addict I am.

As of 5.3, the timer is cancelled when running under one of those security-bubbles casted by the daily quest-givers. Keep that in mind when doing this quest - I tried to get rid of the mobs I pulled when riding through but it doesn't work that way ...

Submitted a ticket to GM about completing this in 9 minutes (accepted at 1:07pm, turned in at 1:16pm) yet receiving no credit for this. Then I come here to find that everybody else says it's bugged for them, too. Great. Just ^&*!ing great.
We'll see what the GM says. Probably going to tell me to try again next week.

Hmmm just completed this achievement on my 1st attempt... Started the quest at the crag with /timer and finished in 8.5 mins but for some reason didn't get the achieve... There should have been no issue of waiting for the timer from a previous attempt to expire as I did it on the 1st attempt. Bugged ?

Did this in 5.4, the trick with picking up the quest, finding all the other pieces, then dropping quest (BE SURE TO WAIT for 10 minute timer to run out!), then get quest again and go get the pieces still works - they were all exactly where I found them the first time.
I DID make sure to grab the Head of the Chamberlain from the same spot as the first time I found it, this MAY make a difference in where the other pieces are located.
OK, here's what I did that worked like a charm.
1) MAKE SURE you know where the cave is! It's in the court of bones, all the way at the end. Just go to Hall of the Grand Imperion, then jump down to the beach. There's a hole in the wall, you just go in and the statue will be on your right in the first room.
2). GRAB Head of the Chamberlain in the SAUROK AREA! This is key to saving time I found. Each of the other 4 pieces will be in a different part of the island, but one will be in the Saurok zone along with the head if you pick up the head there! So when I did the run, I just grabbed the head then jumped (in Saurok form) to the next piece, then jumped out of the crag.
3) Get the piece from the TROLL AREA (Za'Tual) next. It's right next to the Saurok, so you save some travel time. But most importantly, I did this whole run mounted, any time I got knocked off my mount I used any evasive stuff I had (night elf warrior, so I had Shadowmeld, also have
Salyin Battle Banner
- both helped to break aggro when i got dismounted). So by doing the Troll area early, this leaves your cool downs reset for the Court of Bones, which I found the most difficult.
4) Go around the Diremoor and up the big steps at the NE END OF ISLE OF THUNDER, loot the piece that's up there (where the trolls are taming the raptors).
5) Go back around Diremoor to COURT OF BONES, loot the last piece and then jump down to the beach and into the cave FTW.

Submitted a ticket today for this quest. As of today, 12/23/13 I am unable to click any pieces in the game world. Very frustrating! I attempted to reload UI and to log multiple times. The items appear, with the gears overhead, but I am unable to redeem/collect the items. Has anyone else encountered such an issue?

To sum up previous post that are really important
- if you abandon the quest (still not there yet and the timer is about to expire) make sure you wait until the 10 minutes from the point you picked up the quest ended. I gave 5 more minutes extra just in case.
- on the first attempt scout for areas where the pieces might be
- remember the pieces are usually on top of buildings/mountains - not a simple dismount and pick up
- if you did scout for items you can clear the mobs - for me they haven't respawned until I did the next and real attempt
- buff up so when you do have to face mobs you are quick about it
- MOST IMPORTANT - use
Windfeather Plume
30% increased mount speed in this quest is essential - they drop on timeless isle, but usable throughout Pandaria*
*p.s. I did have to use 2 of them, for some reason I lost the buff when dismounted for mob fight

I just recieved this achievement. it's definately a toughie, but it isn't as bad as people make it out to be if you come prepared.
1) Do a test run before trying to get the achievement. Accept the quest, but don't pick up any of the items. Instead, run around the map and check where all of the pieces are. It also helps to practice how to obtain each piece (some require a tricky jump, others require you to kite away an elite mob).
2) Use TomTom. Being able to create waypoints helps a LOT. When finding one of the pieces while doing your test run, simply plop down a waypoint and you will always know where each piece is.
3) Don't try your luck prior to getting the saurok suit. You need it to jump onto the big mountain that one of the pieces resides on. You can't get there without the suit.
4) Use your abilities to your advantage. Anything that shakes off aggro will be incredibly helpful.
隐形术
,
假死
,
消失
, things like that. Abilities that allow you to move forward such as
闪现术
and
火箭跳
will also come in handy.
5) Get something that increases your movement speed. People claim that you need the 30% speed boost from Windfeather Plumes, but i managed to get mine without using one. However, i used
水上漂
and
.
I ended up completing the quest in 9 minutes and 28 seconds, which leads me to say that this achievement is nigh impossible if you don't have any way of speeding up.

Started the quest and timer, searched everywhere for the required parts, checked the timer (which was 14 or so minutes), reset the timer, quit the quest, picked up another head, ran to each noted location picking up the required items, turned everything in on time, didn't get the achievement. What is going on here?

Feels like Cheating, but here:
Use:
风翎鹤羽
and
钳爪蟹壳
to make your life easier!
- Start the quest.
- Locate all the items(even if it takes you an hour), DO NOT LOOT THEM, take your time practicing how to reach them, and mark their location using tom tom or whatever.
- Abandon the quest, make sure that the time tracker for the achievement has reset.
- Start the Quest and go collect them all. (You will be done collecting in about 5mins or so)
- To cash the quest, just go the WEST water side of the Court of Bones. The cave is literally a "Big Hole in the Wall".
Notice: The parts respawn at different locations once looted, so this means you should make sure you are the only one doing the quest.
Good luck!

I have done this achievement today and I can say you really do not need any speedbosting items or even skills. I have done it on 5 Minutes.
It really is all about planning your route.
I have a little advice how to plan your route:
1. Start at the Sauroks Area: this part is usually the hardest due to the part being on top of hills. I know it can spawn on different locations if you have access to the Sauroks Transformation it usually helps a lot, you can slide up mountains with the tabbing jump button. Another thing that really helps is something like the goblin glider of engineers, which i used and it worked easily. You just need the patience to practice it.
2 Up to the Zatual Area
3 to the area around the throne
4 to the boneyard and then you are just where you have to fill in the quest.
took me 20 minutes of planning, and had 5 minutes left

Most awesum item to have in use is
钳爪蟹壳
(drops off the crabs on timeless isle) even in mob-crowded area's you wont pull aggro while youre running around searching for the parts.
made my life so much easyer with 3 minutes left on the clock ( didnt pickup/find all parts then drop and retake)

Something's changed in WoWhead and I'm not sure what it is but I see more guides containing little information or information in a circular fashion now. It's hard to see where quests start and end anymore ~~~after using Wowhead for years and years.
All I wanted to know is: is this quest repeatable? Is it a daily or is it a one time thing? I just turned it in and since I never even knew about the achievement I have no idea whether I'll bother with it.
Why doesn't Wowhead's interface show if it's a daily or part of a chain. Nowadays, someone writes a "guide" on something and there's now no longer a list of chain quests? Or who gives it, or where does it end? Really really bad.

I finally came back to this achievement 2 or 3 patches later to finish it. I'm currently a 566 BM hunter. I 1st picked up the quest, then found all the items & practiced how to get to them.
Started w/the saurok area (Ihgaluk Crag.) Then made my way to Za Tual, then to the area left of where Nalak is, (where the Oondasta looking dinosaur is standing, then lastly to the Court of Bones.
I literally stood above, if not few steps away from the items & marked the coordinates with waypoints via TomTom so I could remember where they all were. Using the Scuttler's Shell & Windfeather Plume really helped. Dropped quest, made sure to "track" the achievement, then re-acquired it & was on my way. Had 2mins 13sec left to turn it in when I did.
The waypoints for the day I did them were -
/way 37.2, 76.0
/way 47.5, 75.2
/way 34.0, 49.9
/way 50.1, 40.9
The points change daily but repeat every few days so i'd save the 1's i've provided. Also, to fit all the waypoints you might find, i'd use SuperDuperMacro. it fits everything into 1 macro instead of splitting it all up into multiple macros.
Hope this helps someone. Good luck!

If you're like me and don't have the patience to spend 30 mins planning your route out. This is possible to do just winging it. Like everyone says, start at Saurak, go Trolls next door, the dinos and last bones. I ended with a little under 3 mins left.

As some have stated before here on the comments, you can just pick the first part to start ques, then scout the island for the other parts (they will appear on the minimap as a gear), mark their places (make a /way macro for tomtom addon) drop quest and start on he farther one aiming for the one closest to the Statue to hand in quest. You can farm for
钳爪蟹壳
on the crabs on timeless isle, so at least mobs near court of bones wont bother you, just don't walk right into them, so you don't get to worry about being dismounted.
For the waypoints for tomtom, make sure to make it like this:
/way (coords) (a text to help you get to it faster)
like this:
/way 34, 66 Torso,take right wall path outside

Someone might've pointed this out already but in case not, if you accept the quest, pick up all the parts, abandon the quest and then accept it again,
all parts will be in the same place as last time
. That means that you can find them all and then start over with the quest. Knowing where the pieces are makes making it under the time-limit a breeze ^^

This seems like a really hard task at first, only 10 minutes? I have to find all the objects, run from each one to the other, with all creatures and other obstacles?
Well actually it's sorta easy, this is how I did it under 5 minutes, lol.
First find a head, pick up the quest and do the quest normally. Don't worry about the time, it's really irrelevant right now, what you should note instead, is where you pick up each item. What you don't know from the start is, that each day the objects have the same location, they don't move. Meaning if you look up all items first time, note where they are, you'll know til you actually do the achievement.
So when you finnished the question, don't turn it in, go to the quest turn in, note where it is and now you're ready to do the achivement. Abandon the quest, make sure the time resets, and go find a new head. Pick up the quest, this time you know all the locations, go there, pick the objects/items up. Turn in the quest.
When you know all of this, it's so easy and it goes so fast. Hope this helps for other people frustrating to complete this under 10 minutes, cheers.

Easy Achievement at 100, even while everyone, their Grandma, their long lost Uncle Horace, and cousin Fred were on the island thanks to the magic of Cross-Realm Zoning.
0) Track your achievement, so you can see how much time is remaining while doing this.
1) Pick up the quest. Open up your map. Look & remember where you picked it up.
2) Move to the next area and locate and pick-up the next piece.
3) Rinse & Repeat till you find all of the pieces. Remember the location for each.
4) Once the final piece is picked up, your map will show the quest turn-in location. Remember that location.
5) If you are still able to get there before the time ran out, go ahead and turn it in. If not, abandon the quest.
6) Go back to where you found the quest, start it again, and make a nice loop to each location where the other pieces were picked up, as they will respawn where they were just moments earlier.
7) Turn quest in, achievement completed.

This guide assumes that you have and are familiar with using coordinates and TomTom.
Getting this achievement is very easy but very time consuming.
I'll walk you through it. In short, this is what you're going to be doing:
Familiarize yourself with where to turn the quest in.
Find the head piece and start the quest, writing down the coordinates for where the head piece is.
Find the other four quest pieces and document their coordinates and familiarize yourself with whatever jumps, etc., you need to take in order to reach them.
With everything documented, abandon the quest, return to the head piece to pick it back up again, and then complete everything for real... being sure to not go over the time limit.
Now, the long version, which details the steps above:
Before you start, make sure you know where this ends or you'll kick yourself later. The place to turn in this quest, once completed, is inside of a cave, accessible at approximately 33.4, 63.2. You should actually go there RIGHT NOW and (re)familiarize yourself with this location or you'll be frantically running around searching,
cursing
, while the timer runs out on you.
Get your timer ready by pulling up The Crumble Bundle achievement in your achievement list and tick the box to track your progress. This will give you a countdown timer, which is very helpful.
(*Alternately, type /timer and use the manual stopwatch (great little multi-use timer, fyi).)
You will first accept the quest and do a run-through to find all of the pieces and write down their coordinates for where they are on that day. You won't actually pick up the pieces; you're only documenting their coordinates.
Second, you'll abandon the quest and pick it back up again to do the run for real and get your achievement.
Start the quest with the head piece, which you'll find at one of these locations below:
/way 62.0, 51.6 Head
/way 57.5, 46.2 Head
/way 54.3, 48.9 Head
/way 52.5, 50.4 Head
/way 49.8, 32.7 Head
/way 53.5, 45.2 Head
/way 53.5, 45.6 Head
Now go find all of the other pieces, the shoulder, staff, hair, and torso. You'll find these at the various locations listed below.
There is no hurry now, so take your time. Document the coordinates of every piece and be sure you can comfortably reach each piece through whatever series and jumps and hops, etc., that are needed.
/way 57.5, 81.6 Shoulder
/way 53.4, 83.5 Shoulder
/way 50.9, 85.5 Shoulder
/way 47.9, 83.0 Shoulder
/way 44.5, 86.1 Shoulder
/way 45.5, 79.2 Shoulder
/way 47.5, 75.2 Shoulder
/way 56.6, 72.9 Shoulder
/way 33.6, 67.0 Staff
/way 41.4, 67.7 Staff
/way 39.1, 73.5 Staff
/way 37.8, 79.1 Staff
/way 36.9, 75.6 Staff
/way 35.9, 75.1 Staff
/way 31.5, 75.3 Staff
/way 34.0, 72.2 Staff
/way 59.5, 56.7 Hair
/way 54.2, 48.6 Hair
/way 56.5, 45.8 Hair
/way 53.0, 45.6 Hair
/way 53.3, 43.1 Hair
/way 50.1, 40.8 Hair
/way 51.1, 31.2 Hair
/way 52.5, 37.1 Hair
/way 33.6 59.9 Torso
/way 34 49.8 Torso
/way 34.9 61.7 Torso
/way 36.3 48.9 Torso
/way 36.8 59.9 Torso
/way 37.8 53.8 Torso
Got all that?
Once again, these are the steps to take to complete this achievement:
Familiarize yourself with where to turn the quest in.
Find the head piece and start the quest, writing down the coordinates for where the head piece is.
Find the other four quest pieces and document their coordinates and familiarize yourself with whatever jumps, etc., you need to take in order to reach them.
With everything documented, abandon the quest, return to the head piece to pick it back up again, and then complete everything for real... being sure to not go over the time limit.

I wanted to add, my experience was different from alot of the comments here. MY SPAWN POINTS DID CHANGE. Sometimes even right while I was attempting to get a piece (Ihgaluk jumps I'm looking at you) and finally made it, the piece was gone and I had to go looking for it again. Also when I abandoned the quest, I had to find a new head piece to pick it up again (the original one I used was gone), and when I did, some of the spawns I had scouted out before abandoning the first time, had changed.

I took the advice of others, but slow and safe (because I suck at parkour). Pick up the head and note where. Find the closest next part and figure how to get to it. Go ahead and reset (abandon the quest). Pick up the same head, then go to the next closest part and collect (will be on your map). Then look for the next closest place and figure how to get to that piece. Reset before the counter runs out (don't know if that matters, but I made sure the counter never ran out). Keep at this until you've figured out how to get to all the pieces. Make sure you know where the turn-in happens (34.61, 64.72) in a cave near the sea. I gave myself at least 3 minutes time to get there.
It is definitely possible. Took me a bit over an hour to learn all the places and how to parkour in really just one. Perhaps just lucky on this run, as it's taken me a good 6 weeks of tries to get this.
Good luck!
